Lightweight. Fits well, it’s a bit of a struggle getting it over my hips without ripping though. Ordered a medium, waist 29, hips 39. Someone else on here mentioned a zipper bump but mine had an elastic waistband, no zipper. Read more

It’s a beautiful skirt especially the color, it’s not super thick and its not see through either to me but these silk skirts are not forgiving but we know that going into buying silk. They do show the stomach area and dimples but a good form fitting under garmet can take care of that. I do love it but I didn’t see anybody talk about the bump that the zipper causes?? It pokes out right at the hip area! The only thing I can think of is to wear a shirt over it so anything form fitting is out of the question? I will try and iron it down but in the past this hasn’t helped. I’m not sure I will keep because it will limit me on tops I can wear with it but I find all these skirts without linings with zippers do this! This one wasn’t cheap by any means so I was hoping it wouldnt do this but the fact no one reviewed this about the skirt made me believe it didn’t do this but it does! So sad I really love the rest of the skirt but I will Probably return after I try a few tops on with it:( there has to be a better way to make these silk skirts with zippers to not do this??? Or maybe just get rid of the zipper all together and just make it a pull on. My pull ons dont don’t do this. I wear these skirts a lot for work and weddings etc. so I’m very familiar with these silk skirts.. very sad because the color matches all my boots:( I have it a 4 for beauty of it and the flow it gorgeous but there’s zipper is a deal breaker.. Waist 29, hip 39, and medium was correct size. The fabric was much thinner than I would have liked. I got this in black and I found it was slightly see through when I took it out of the package. It caught my eye, I wasn't looking for that. Once I put it on it wasn't see through for color, but the thin fabric showed all of the line detail of my minimalist undergarments from the front. The fabric has a nice sheen and was cut on the bias which does give this skirt a nice drape. Read more
