This is a great product that I have been using for years on my dogs. It works within about an hour and last 24-48 hours. It is a small pill and easy to feed your dog with some cheese or some kind of snack. It seems to be tasteless to the animal, and works very quickly. Fleas will just start to die and fall off of the animal soon after ingestion. It has no side effects that I have seen, it only seems to has positive effects. There is no smell to the tablets they are completely oderless as far as I can tell. I highly recommend these if your dog has a flea problems as a first resort then getting a Seresto flea and tick collar which is a hidden gem of a flea collar. It works within just a day or so and then protects the animal for 8 months. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny as they have no smell and no greasy feel and have protected my pet that was continually getting fleas from our front yard. I highly highly recommend looking into a Seresto flea collar as a secondary or even a primary defense against fleas as they stopped all flea activity on my dog as well as my friends dogs that live outside in Mexico where fleas are extremely bad. Just a bit of extra advice to look into as a great health investment for your pet. However it's noteworthy to mention these pills are a excellent first line of defense for ridding pest from your pet in a single day, they just need a collar if you have continued infestations on your animals. This is not a chewable oral form as it does say oral on the label but doesn't clearly state that it is a pill for. Not chewable. This pill is for rich owners who can afford to pay for a flea treatment that will not work on your dog but for each pill on a good day that is not reliable gets rod pf fleas for 24 hr s at a time per pill and then redose so it comes with 7 or 6 pulls and by the 6th pill your dog will have a full infestation still be back and ready to attack your dog unless you pay for another 6 day treatment. There are other treatments that actually egg rid of all of rhe fleas completely and work for months at a time per dose so this one. Is really quite useless and really a waste of time and if it isnot just a gift to u and your dog u would not invest or spend any of your hard earned money on it. If give. My vet requires all dogs and cats who are boarded overnight get 1 on check in day and 1 on check out day. They said it kills the active fleas but if you have an infestation may take several doses over a period of time to get the eggs that haven't hatched yet. At first they may become a little more itchy as the fleas start dying. But goes to work killing fleas in 30 minutes and supposed to kill all active adult fleas on them within 4 hours. It gives them so much relief. I do use a flea prevention treatment for my dog but missed a dose and that's when we he got them and brought them in and spread it to my kitties. I still need to treat the pets bedding, and places they like to lay. A flea outbreak can really get out of hand. You guys, it works! I have two cats and a Pomeranian, and they were all infested with fleas and scratching so badly they developed scabs. I tried Frontline topical treatment first, but it did absolutely nothing and was a complete waste of money. The only thing that had ever worked for us before was an oral tablet from the vet, but I didn’t want to take all three pets in this time. That’s when I tried Capaction.
