This AC works very good. It cools down my entire apartment and it gets very cold. I am very pleased. It's small, sturdy, and not heavy. Easy to move around. Very impressed with how cooling it is. Highly recommend. I have 10,000 BTU. My kids love it also, they turn it off at night because of how cool it gets. Only issue, is the hose. You have to have a bucket collecting the water, and change it often. I find that having it on cool, with low fan works better and I don't have to empty the bucket for 8 hrs (on that setting). If it's on high fan, cool setting, then I'm emptying the bucket every 3 to 4 hours. Read more

PETSITE 10000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner is a nice unit. Well built and easy to move around on wheels. Be carful when you unpack it from the box. Take your time and read the manual before you take the ac out of shipping box. Don't use the window kit thru a vent in your home to vent the hot air outside. Once you get the kit installed on the window. Not in the manual. But not to hard to DO IT YOURSELF. Make sure you secure the window down & cover any gaps. The features on the ac is nice & easy to use. The remote can be used from about 2 to 3 feet away from the ac. (battery not included) 2 AAA batteries is needed. The manual control on the ac is a touch buttons and all function work great. The fins go up & down with 1 lever for side to side. The opening on front of the ac on high speed can cool any medium size room. The ac filter is easy to get off & clean. The hose on the back of the ac is about 5 feet when you use all of it. Over all the ac is great so far. I brought the ac on June 28, 2023 and will keep testing the ac unit & let you know. If I can. Update July 7, 2023. AC still amazes me how well it works. I bought this because I have a 6kw battery and some small solar panels that can’t power my house HVAC unit alone. So I got this to be able to cool the main room I stay in without turning on the HVAC unit. Its draws about 900w when cooling and does a great job doing so. It has pretty good build quality too.
