I like the bamboo material, and it looks good, but when my phone (very heavy android) is in the cradle vertically, if I press the screen too hard, it has a tendency to tip over. I bought this two-pack of phone stands for my husband and myself to use as we improve the setup of our home offices. These are ingeniously designed and made of bamboo, which is attractive as well as being sustainable. They’ll be east to disassemble and pack flat in a suitcase for when we travel, too. The finish on them is nice and smooth and I love, love, love that there is space to plug in the phone’s charger when it’s sitting upright on the stand. I’ve used it for several workdays now and couldn’t be happier with its function. It’s also unusual enough that it adds some personality to our setup rather than being an anonymous and boring hunk of plastic. We’re thinking of buying one for our daughter, as well; she loves it. So, I love how this looks and it DOES function as a stand well enough. My only issues are the sturdiness and ease of use when the phone is plugged into a charger. It is NOT very sturdy and comes apart easily when it's bumped or moved accidently. Also, I don't like that the only way you can charge your phone while also being able to pick it up and use it is when it's lying sideways on the stand. I'd like to be able to have my phone stood upright on my desk due to space, and can't if I'm charging it because you have to go through the process of unplugging and plugging your phone back in EVERY TIME you want to pick it up off the stand. Plus, even if you ARE okay with doing that, it's near impossible to pick the phone up to take out the charger cord without the entire thing just falling apart. So, overall it's cute and does what I need it to, but I've already decided to replace it when I don't have other things to buy that are higher priority. Read more
