For the money, this is a really great set. Especially well-suited to a beginner who wants something that will last without spending a fortune. The clubs have carbon fiber shafts, which is nice for club head speed and gives a softer feel in your hands. The driver is a pretty standard extra-large driver with some engraving on the face. There are no weighted adjustments on any of the clubs. I spent some time with the driver on the simulator and compared it to my personal driver that costs more than this entire set. As a very average golfer, I was able to produce similar results with both drivers. I think that's a really good sign for someone who wants to start learning golf. The irons have a nice feel and play consistently. Obviously, the important part there is consistency, not raw distance. I didn't notice any manufacturing defects on any of the clubs, but the paint on the driver and woods looked like the details were done by hand rather than machine-applied. The bag for the set is surprisingly good quality. It's SO LIGHT. When I took it out of the box, I thought some clubs must have been missing. Perfect for a smaller player who doesn't want to lug an extra 20 pounds around the course. It has lots of pockets for storing stuff. These are at least as good as a similar-priced option from your local sporting goods store, and I would argue a better value after testing the performance of the driver. Read more

Similar to other reviews, the hybrids and driver are, as expected, cheap. My daughter’s first set and first time using the set after receiving for Christmas resulted in an ugly dent on top. Sadly they didn’t stay it new condition for more than half dozen swings and for someone learning the game, and using a new gift, she was upset that the driver dented. Yes, not a top name brand set and yes, similar result to other users. So you get what you pay for; buyer beware. So far irons ok, but my expectations are very very low on this set lasting more than a year overall. Read more

This is an excellent starter golf set for beginners. I got this set for my wife who plays pretty often around two times a week. So she is already pretty experiences, but she likes the look and feel of these clubs. It comes with everything you need to get started, from Driver, woods, irons, wedges and even a putter. It also comes with a bag. All you need is some tees and balls and you'd be set to start playing golf. This is a great value for a complete set. You can't go wrong! Read more

At high level, this is a nice set to get someone started. The bag is actually pretty well made with lots of pockets, and a cooler for drinks. It's a 10 way top (3/3/3/1) but no full length dividers. It has lift handle on 3 sides and pretty sturdy legs. The clubs included are driver (12.5*), 3 wood, irons 6-PW, a 56* sand wedge and a putter. I would have liked to see a hybrid instead of 3w for starter sets because 3w is a lot more challenging to hit properly. Most of the clubs have light weight graphite shafts appropriate for a beginner. However the sand wedge kind of leaves me scratching my head. It is the only club, besides the putter, that has a steel shaft. I really don't understand why it doesn't come with the same light weight graphite shaft because it is a lot heavier in hand, and possibly too stiff for a beginner. One other thing I don't care for is the "Pro Golf Master" on the side. I understand that's what PGM stands for but a bit of obnoxious to proclaim. It would have been better if they simply put the PGM logo. All in all, it's a pretty good value for everything to get someone going. Read more
