From someone who paid over $600 for a driver last year, I am thrilled with these clubs. I am a very average older golfer, 17 handicap. I didn’t want to break the bank on new irons. I'm a very amateur golfer that rarely gets to get out and play. I have recently been able to start playing more often as well as playing on a simulator with friends during bad weather. I have a 30+ year old set of clubs that are pretty beat up and I've been looking for replacements and upgrades. This set of PGM irons was a perfect set to start off my new club collection. I've only used them on the simulator but can already tell that I'm getting a much improved distance, spin, and control from what I remember with my older clubs. The grip feels great in my medium sized hands and the weight is a noticeable difference from my older metal shaft clubs. I'm about 5'9" and the length of the shafts feels just right to me. I feel that I get a lot of forgiveness out of these graphite shafts and am enjoying my improved accuracy. I also love the look and colors of the clubs from an aesthetic sense. I'm still fairly new to the game and have been using a set of hand me downs for the last couple of years. I was thrilled when I saw a complete set for such a value, I ordered it right away and I'm glad I did. The grips are soft and comfortable, and the club length is perfect for my size which is 5'11". I think the combination of the forgiving head and the shaft, both contribute to a longer, straighter shot. This iron set is lightweight, well-balanced, and easy to swing for beginners or people trying to improve their game. It’s hard to find clubs in this price range that offer this level of performance. I've been looking for quite awhile. These are really beautiful to look at and great to play with at the course or the range. I felt they were smooth right up through impact, and perfect for newer players like me or anyone looking to improve (my boyfriend likes them too and he's been playing much linger than I have). The graphite shafts have a nice flex and the overall feel is solid without being heavy.
