I would leave a 6-Star rating if I could! Have tried sooooooo many different machines and presses. Finally landed on the perfect balance between a really great automatic coffee maker that was.... more than I wanted to spend, but less than I could afford to spend. Coffee is absolutely delicious with the beans we chose. Ceramic grinder does a wonderful job! If your on the fence like I was check out the reviews, and take the plunge. If you love coffee throughout the day or like me just one or two in the morning, you won't regret this machine! Its noisy when it grinds your fresh beans, temp for coffee is HOT which I love! Flavor is smooooooth, cleaning is a breeze, set up takes a minute, but carefully follow all directions during set up. One of the new things you might have to get use to is keeping a small craft, cup or bowl (see photo) to catch short rinse cycle it runs for the coffee side immediately before automatically shutting off when your finished making your cup and leave the machine unattended for some time while you enjoy your drink. I bought this on a prime day sale which made the price too good to pass up (as I had been considering this product for 6+ months already). I did go through about a 2.2 lb bag of coffee beans before I feel like all the settings were really dialed in. Adjusting things like coarseness, water temperature, quantity of beans per shot, and quantity of water took some time. I also switched coffee beans from Lavazza super crema to a Cafe Vita light/medium roast espresso bean which seems to have improved the taste significantly. My wife was unsure about this at first as she tasted it during the aforementioned "dialing it in" period. But, once we got things all squared away we both love it. We turn the machine on in the morning, it heats up and cleans itself, we put some milk in the latte-go, make our selection and have great coffee with mere presses of a couple buttons. It is a heftier investment than something like a nespresso but, depending on your cost of coffee bean, this will end up being cheaper and paying for itself down the road. I am absolutely thrilled with the Philips 3200 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine! This is hands-down the best coffee maker I've ever owned. I use this maybe a dozen times a day for coffee, espresso, and the other frothed drinks. It is very easy to clean and maintain and keeps producing great tasting coffee after some extreme usage. The coffee option on the machine allowed me to replace my full coffee pot and only use this as my daily machine for regular coffee. This is a great machine for making milk-based drinks. It froths the milk well and makes great tasting cappuccino and latte macchiato. I’m not sure if I like it for just the regular cup of coffee but that’s not what I bought it for as that can be done with just a simple, much less expensive coffee maker. The set up and operation is simple but definitely needs to be learned at first. I found it much easier to learn through the videos on YouTube than the written manual. I don’t find the machine to be too loud. It’s easy to maintain on a daily/weekly basis but takes time for the monthly maintenance. The tray must be emptied on a regular basis or it starts to accumulate mold in the leftover coffee grind. The rinsing and drying of the internal main part that comes out through the service door is what I dislike the most about it. The rinsing smears the lubricant all over and makes it very sticky and the drying takes over two days!! The other con is the temperature- it doesn’t get very hot, only somewhat hot. Given the price tag, I’m not sure if I’m fully satisfied with it but I still like it for the drinks it makes. Read more

I got it as gift to my husband a few months ago and he’s loving it so far. Easy to install and use. It makes some noise when is grinding the coffee but it’s not too loud or annoying. It looks great and perfectly fit under my upper kitchen cabinets. Good value for the money Read more
I had a JURA we payed $5,000 for. Difficult to clean, broke within a year, sent in 3 times under warranty. It was never fixed. I bought this instead after researching & although it doesn’t have quite all the features of the expensive JURA, it makes tasty lattes, it’s easy to clean, & I love it for the price! It is a bit noisy but who cares!?! Read more
