Great item! Really filters tap water, you can taste the difference. Super convenient for drinking water anywhere and not needing to cause more environmental harm with disposable bottled water, not to mention it saves you money in the long run. I own both the Brita and Philips brand of these filter style bottles, both work well, but I prefer the design of the Philips. The inside of the Brita spout has a ridge in the silicone that keeps trapping bacteria no matter how much I clean it. The bottles are a bit brighter in person than the colors shown in the photos, just something to note. I have used it every day for two months now and there is no mold issue in the cap. Just wash the cap and attached straw tip frequently. I do every time I refill. You need to hold this upright and suck through the straw like you are a kid using a sippy cup, lol. If you try to tilt and pour, nothing will come out! Also I can never seem to drink the last bit of water in the bottle, I always have to unscrew the top and pour. Minor issue, but wanted to mention in case someone finds that annoying. It's a well-designed product, does not leak. Oh and last thing to mention - the plastic can get fingerprints on it very easily and does not keep cool, so if those things are important to you, get the stainless steel version. I am one of those odd people that likes their water room temperature so I don't mind, and I like seeing how much water I have left, so that's why I got the plastic one. EDIT: Been using this bottle for close to a year now. I am seeing all these reviews talk about mold. Well, you really have to ***WASH FREQUENTLY EVERY DAY*** to keep the mold away. Do not let it sit overnight with your saliva all over the spout. I have uploaded a new photo and you can see the only speck of mold I have is oddly on the plastic portion and not the silicone parts. I am not even sure if it's mold tbh, could just be a gray dot of discolored plastic? The color is also way off, because it was taken in the kitchen under fluorescent lighting. Every single night I wash the entire bottle and cap, including sticking a straw cleaner in the spout opening, then let it completely air dry, LID OPEN, before using again the next day and this habit has kept the mold away! If you don't mind all the washing effort, then you probably won't have a mold issue, but if you are a low maintenance person, this is not a bottle for you. Read more

Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! I didn't want to break the bank for a filter bottle for our 3.5 week trip to Iceland but wanted something that was functional, handy, not overly complex and cheap. This bottle was fantastic and I'll be using it even after trip ended. It's easy to use, the water is tasteless and it's easy to fill/operated. The only issue I had was making sure to drain the straw after opening - If you're too quick to take it out after unscrewing the top, the water will drain out on your pants, the floor, etc. It's not the bottles' problem, just a learned operation. If you're looking for a cheaper filter bottle, I'd recommend this bottle. It was along on every one of our long hikes and performed very well. May purchase one of these for my wife who expressed some desire after seeing mine. Read more
Great kidsโ bottle for bedtime. It reduces the last minute โI need a drinkโ part of our bedtime ritual. No more extra trips downstairs to the kitchen for filtered water when we can just fill it in the bathroom. The replacement filters are very budget friendly, and I love that the bottle doesnโt sweat all over the furniture. Overall great buy! Read more
This bottle is great for travel - I just carry it through security empty and then fill it up at any water fountain once I'm through. The bottle doesn't smell of plastic, the filter works great, and it lasts a long time. My one critique is that because the water is drawn through a long straw at the bottom, you can't tip the bottle to get filtered water. This limits its use in situations where you might want to pour filtered water into another container Read more
It filters water so well, literally canโt ate the difference. Plus itโs so cute and pink. & if youโre concerned that itโs plastic I am EXTREMELY CLUMSY and have dropped this tons of times and it has never broke and has just a little scratchโItโs actually insane that itโs survived this long. I loved the overall design and ease of use with this water bottle. For the first few months, the taste was great and I had no issues. However, about 6 months into use, even with consistent cleaning + filter replacement, I noticed the water started tasting really funny and saw some mold growing inside the mouthpiece. I used white vinegar to get rid of it, which was only a temporary solution because the mold grew back. Now, no matter how often I clean it, the water still does not taste as good as when I first got the bottle. Another minor issue is that the water does not stay cold. It's a plastic bottle, so I don't expect it to stay cold for a long period of time. But I always fill the bottle completely with ice, then add water, and the ice melts really fast, like within an hour. I'm okay with room temp water but this is just something to consider if you like it cold. Overall, this product started out great, but I'm a bit disappointed. Looking into other options. Read more
