Update: The company reached out and sent the model that works with Alexa. A quick swap of the deadbolt and it functions well and was easy to set up since I already had the app and account. Point revised above = This model does NOT work with Alexa as advertised. There is only an unlock symbol on the door, not a locked symbol. So the kids spin it no matter what. I purchase this set in the hopes of using it as part of Philips ecosystem. However, I came to realize that this seems like a licensed 3rd party product. 6 months usage review: - Fingerprint success rate is about 30% for me. I need to move my finger around at least five times for it to read with 30% chance. Often I find myself typing in my pin. - I have installed 2 of these from this set. One of them started to often fail to auto lock recently. I replaced the batteries, still have the same issue. I have to check or manually lock it I lost my trust on it. The other one always autolocks as expected from its settings. I noticed their front plate versions are different but no firmware update is needed. So I don’t know what’s wrong with one of these. - Batteries don’t last as advertised. - The knob included in the set is flimsy. It already started wiggling. Some nitpicks: - The lock indicator could have more contrast. It’s not obvious if the door is locked from inside unless you are a feet away - The touch screen doesn’t work if your hands are wet, coming from rain - you for sure won’t get your fingerprint recognized, you won’t be able to put in a pin. Amazing. It helps with not having to juggle keys with 3 kids trying to get k. The house. Plus you can use the app to unlock from anywhere. My family is big and they always come to my house so if I'm not home yet I can simply unlock the door for them. Battery life is great. No problems there. Fingerprint works fantastic so far. No issue with wifi connection. And I feel secure. It makes life so much easier and I fully recommend everyone to get it lol. Read more
