Nice dumbbell. You get one. I ordered a second. Comfortable enough, easy to hold. A couple of smudges on it, nothing to worry about. It looks like a slightly overripe yellow squash. Dumbbells of this weight are good companions for the treadmill. Read more
If you are accustomed to standard weights with a bar between big ends then this egg ended weight might take a little adjustment. But, not much. 2.2 kilograms is less than five pounds. It didn't feel lighter, but I weighed it on two different scales and it is just about 4.4 pounds. I usually use two weights at a time and would have preferred two of these, but it wasn't too awkward to use a five pound weight in one hand and this weight in the other. This weight is slightly rough so it doesn't slip or slide while in hand. When I moved up from three pound weights I would have rather had hand weights less than five pounds each for my next step. A two pound jump was a little too much, but I could not find four pound weights at that time. I would definitely buy weights like these I can't find anything not to like. Read more
This dumbbell is no dummy. It's shaped so you can hold it comfortably, especially if you have a smaller wrist. These are perfect for women who need lighter weights and a good form factor for comfortable use. The foam covering is easy to handle and absorbs sweat from hands. You have to order two in the same size for double dumbbell exercises like flys, this comes as a single bell. Read more
Why 2.2 lbs? Because it's 1kg in the metric system. I like the idea of a light weight for warm ups and for my wrists and hands. This one is more comfortable than traditionally shaped dumbbells. It's a striking color so it's easy to identify on the rack with other weights. It is clearly labeled on one end and the other side says, "Feel the burn" just for encouragement. The coating is smooth and comfortable to hold. Read more
This is a nice hand weight. The coating is nice, adding grip and a dash of color. The weight is accurate -- I weighted it on a digital scale. It is exactly matching specification. Only down side -- if you take a look at the photo, the weight is not completely circular. There are two ridges on either side. Not sure it matters but the perfectionist in me noticed it. Nice small hand weight, I keep it near my desk for quick exercise break from zoom calls. Read more

This 4.4 lb dumbbell has the perfect shape and grip texture. The gradual curve is nice for fast movements, because if the hand slips slightly it won’t hit a square edge of a traditional dumbbell. The colors in this set are nice to be able to tell them apart. Good price too. Highly recommended. Read more
