Highly recommend. These little tags are exactly what I needed. They arrived in a ziplock bag with the sticker on the bag and not the product as others have said. I bought one to put on my pickleball bag and another one to give as a gift in a pickleball theme gift basket. They are well made, cover the basic rules and also give strategy tips. I don’t play enough to remember which lines are in and out. The diagrams were very useful. I think this is just such a clever idea and recommend them especially if you just want to play and not read a whole rule book. I like how they are designed, the layout is very easy to check the rules. In particular, I appreciate that they have rules on the kitchen. First, the good. These are really good-quality, credit card-sized tags. They actually feel slightly thicker than credit cards, so they have a good weight and structure that should make them durable. The six of tags are kept together on a very thin cable with a screw-on clasp, so it can easily be attached to a pickleball paddle carrying case (or something similar). Although some of the lettering is on the smaller side, the text is still readable, and the coloring of the tags adds a nice touch. Now, the bad. I only play pickleball a few times per year, and the rules I have learned have come from websites and Youtube videos. As fun as the game is, there are a lot of rules to remember, and I sometimes forget them if I haven't played in a while. I was hoping that these rule tags would be a simple guide that I could quickly reference while at the court, but I'm not sure that will be the case. For one, it seems that not all the rules of pickleball are written on these tags. For example, they discuss two different types of serving (volley and drop serve), and they also discuss serving rotation for doubles, but I can't find anywhere that the rule says where the non-serving doubles partner must stand while the ball is being served. Another issue is that the rules aren't clearly described. I vaguely know that there are times when a player may actually step into the kitchen without penalty (I have seen pro players on TV do this). However, the tag which discusses kitchen rules don't clearly state this (or if they do, it's done in a vague way). Also, it says on the "Serving Rotation" card for doubles that the second server gets to serve after the first server loses a point. However, on the "Scoring" card, it says that the serve goes to the opponent if a server loses a point. So which is it? These instructions really should be clearer. I think these tags could have been improved by removing some of the large, unnecessary images (i.e. on the "serving" and "scoring" tags) and putting more text on them instead, and the language of the rules should be clarified even more. I realize that writing rules as clear as possible is not always an easy task, but that really is the primary job of these tags. Read more
