I have a small collection of jewelry that tends to just end up laying out on dressers and such, so I ordered this box to keep everything in one place. It's not a complicated thing, but it does what I wanted it to! The box itself is fairly large, with multiple trays that can be pulled out as well as some dividers that can be rearranged. Though the outside is a fairly standard looking box, the inside is covered in nice soft padded holders, all of which feel like good quality. It's a minor detail, but I especially liked the positioning of the ribbon on one side that keeps the lid from opening too far (I have similar boxes for collectables and they sometimes make this ribbon so short that you can't keep the lid open). The box is on a gold-colored platform which, frankly, I could do without (I'd prefer if it sat more flatly), but does make it look a little more interesting. Of note, the product is marketed as "for Women", but I saw no reason it wouldn't work for men's jewelry. The dividers work just as well with things like rings, cufflinks, and watches. This is a well organized high quality jewelry box. Has great storage capacity and saves a ton of space by being able to consolidate all your jewelry in one nice box. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the pouch that houses the necklaces should be more taught allowing it keep the necklaces flat against its backing (the top) when it's closes. Otherwise the necklaces have a tendency to droop out of the pocket and unfortunately it ends up getting tangled with all the necklaces beside it. Read more

My daughter is away at college and she took "all her Jewelry stuff with" - but now, when she comes home to visit, she loses things because they balance on the nightstand. This box is perfect because it fits nicely on the dresser and is small enough to be out of the way, but large enough to handle a few days worth of her extras or a week/weekend worth of items. She's a pinky, so the color is perfect for her and we found that the interior is soft enough to not worry about. It also made well and does not seem like it will flake or fray as it is taken out over the course of her using it. If you put necklaces in here, of course they will have to be coiled up, so you. might want to have a few hooks for the longer ones, but those get lost less than earrings and rings anyway, and with her, it is okay that she just drop them in the box and move on. At the current price of $20, this is a good value, but at the list price of $30, I might think twice. I like the fact that I can remove the tray and set it down and have a view of all the jewelry, instead of having a drawer style where you can't see everything at once. I also like the ribbon that keeps the top upright at 90 degrees when open instead of flipping backwards. I ordered the beige version, but it is much closer to ivory, and in fact the box is labeled "white". There were a couple of very small flaws in the top, which I don't think I would notice in day-to-day use. The earring card is removeable, but the ring holder is not. The dividers in the bottom compartment are just flocked cardboard, and can be removed in part or whole to make larger compartments. Read more
