A couple of potential issues
Pie carrier is attractive but is not airtight. Thus, there is a bit of movement in the lid when carrier is picked up: makes me anxious about its security. Lid snaps require extra force. Additional snaps are provided, lending one to believe the original clasps may break. Read more
My favorite!
This pie carrier is my newest favorite thing! A pie of any size can sit inside & it slides as you carry it, but it doesn't seem to matter. My pie makes it to the event intact. It's lightweight, easy to carry, & the clips on the sides are very durable. I can tell that the pie is locked inside & isn't going to fall out. The only problem I could foresee would be if you had very high meringue - as the pie slides, the meringue might get messed up. I don't like meringue, so I don't know for sure. Read more
A little hard to close
Easy to travel and remove cheesecake since the lid comes off and cake is easily removed. The closure snaps are very tight and almost feel like you are going to crack them- but so far they are working well. Read more
Just ok IMO
This is a nice pie or cheesecake carrier but it is not high enough for anything else (like a Bundt cake for instance). Reasonably sturdy, and with a functional handle. The clips which secure it are sturdy, but a pain to get clipped, as the base is a bit flimsy relative to the force needed to get the clips closed. Not something you could secure with one hand. Decent carrier
Nice carrier. I bought it for single layer frosted cakes. Will probably use it for other foods, as well. It seems to be of medium quality and maybe a bit overpriced. As others have commented, it’s takes a little effort to “snap” the sides. At least I know it won’t come apart while carrying it. Read more
