This is a great pillow. I love curved pillows because not only am I a side sleeper, but I tend to tuck my chin down in my chest. With regular pillows, sometimes it either wouldn't be thick enough so I'm sleeping on my shoulder all night, or my head would be half on, half off, from the tucking (or both!). This pillow is thick enough to keep my shoulder from compressing, and I can also tuck it around my neck to support my face/chin that sits lower toward my chest. Would recommend! Read more
Love this pillow! I could never find the right pillow as a back sleeper. I did reduce the filling enough to fill a gal size ziplock bag. Love this pillow. ❤️ Read more
I am a consistent side and back sleeper. This shape of pillow was recommended to me for additional support. My first impression was that it was very heavy and stiff. At first I was not happy with how firm and stiff it was. But when I looked inside the box, there was a little document that explained how to open up the pillow and remove the inside fluffing to your personal preference. They recommended removing about a quarter of the stuffing, which is approximately what was removed. This helped alleviate the firmness but I was surprised at how much stuffing I pulled out. In general, I prefer a pillow that keeps its loft, as many pillows start to flatten out. The foam inside this seems to stay fluffy so far. The material on the outside is not comfortable to me, particularly bc I do not like synthetic fabrics, and this feels very synthetic. The pillow is noted as having a cooling side. I did not notice any cooling effects, although I live in a cool climate so it may be that I just didn’t notice it. I am hard pressed to find a standard pillowcase that fits this. All my pillows are standard, so I’ll have to go and buy a king size pillowcase for it. You should also note that the dark gray fabric strip around the pillow is visible through a white pillowcase, which is unfortunate. Not sure why they decided on a grey strip, it seems like it should be the same color as the pillow, since it shows through a light colored pillowcase. As far as price point, it is very fair for the quality of pillow. I’ve noticed that the cost of department store pillows are very high, and this is far more reasonable than what I can find in a department store, and on par quality-wise. Overall, I wish there was no dark gray strip and I didn't have to make the additional purchase of a king size pillow case. But I do like the way the shape works for my body positioning. I do find it supportive, and that it’s kept its nice loft after two weeks of use. It will not replace my regular pillow (Casper) but will be adding this pillow to my rotation depending on how i'm feeling, or if I feel like I need to be more lifted. Read more

What you see is the cover so it's washable which I think it's a plus. Do not let your cat scratch it because it's not resistant to that found out the hard way. I would say during the winter it was harder to use because the pillow was very cold like it stays pretty cool while I like warmth. (Coold faster than it warms up not to say it does not but air conditioned rooms look out) I think it finally fluffed into my had shape now after about a few months. I enjoy it and this far the shape has stayed the same. In the beginning I woke up a bit but again it's because of how cold it can get otherwise was comfortable even for my stressed neck so no complaints. I say for size though I got a pretty big head but I can even lay on it with my shoulders and upper back so I can sleep like a log no problem. Read more

I've been a fan of pillosophy's standard pillow that follows a very similar construction and shredded memory foam build and wanted to try out this newer model with the curves. When you take it out of the vacuum seal, it starts out quite thin, but it'll take some time for the pillow and the foam to fill out, I'll say about an 1-2hours but I wasn't counting. From there you'll see how quite full it is and that's because it comes overstuffed. The included instruction manual says for side sleepers take out a 1/4 of the filling and 1/4-1/2 for back sleepers. I'm both a back and side sleeper so I guesstimated pulling out about 1/3rd to be in the middle. From an appearance perspective, it does look quite nice. I like the soft cotton/velvet band that goes around the outside of the pillow to give it a nice contrasting look, and it does feel nice when you rub your hands against it. Also similar to my other pillow you have the softer more cotton feeling side that does run a little warmer vs the other side which is a slicker rayon material that stays cooler. For my other pillow this was obvious from the color, but for this one, both sides are white so you can tell by feel. I did see some minor stitching issues where I could see some threads sticking out that I had to cut off, which otherwise marred an impressive package. From a sleep perspective, the additional curves offered some cushion that I didn't have before that does elevate the sleeping experience. When back sleeping, I can feel the curves against my shoulders which provide comfort there. When I'm side sleeping on the far edge, I can feel a bit of cushion against my back, and if I'm side sleeping on the inner edge, I have additional cushion on the nook of my elbow. All in all, I'm getting the best of what I had in my other pillosophy pillow and more. I'm really happy with this upgraded offering from pillosophy and it comes at a great price. Even with slight stitching issue (I'm always worried one loose thread can cause bigger issues), the package is so good I can't help but still give this a full 5 stars. If the loose stitching becomes a bigger issue later, I'll update this review accordingly. Read more
