These patches really work to absorb discharge from pimples and heal the skin. They work fastest if the area is not inflamed, but the zit is ready to pop. However, they do calm inflammation in my experience and they can pull up stuff from deeper pimples that haven't emerged yet, especially if used over several nights, preventing them from surfacing. I usually don't write a review of a purchase until I have used or had it for a while. I do not see the value of most reviews if they are done while you have a brand new shiny item that you have just acquired. That said, I was so impressed with this product I wanted to share right away. I take a medicine that has a very common side effect of acne. I happen to have it in a form of cystic acne or blind acne meaning it doesn't often break the surface of your skin. I was using the straight hydrocolloid patches without medication in them and they did not help with these particular types of zits. I did a bit of research and found that there are some that have salicylate acid in them. So I bought these and they virtually stopped a new pimp from fully forming and shrunk overnight. I am so very impressed. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the patches themselves were difficult to remove from the plastic card even lifting using the split back and forth. Some were ruined as I tried as they would not lift off at all. I may be assuming that they were subject to some heat at some time. But I will still purchase again hoping it is a one off. Read more
Until recently, I didn't even know that there were pimple patches, but these are by far the most beneficial patches I have ever used. With my skin these work so well to not only get rid of the pimple but also help repair my skin. After leaving these on for 6, 8 sometimes 10 or more hours I can see a real difference in my skin. Some people may not like the smell but it actually doesn't bother me. I just tend to not put them on when I'm going to eat which is fine because I usually put them on overnight. My skin feels so good after having one of these on that. I wish it came in a whole face mask! They are so easy to put on and take off. Just make sure that you wash your face and position them correctly so that they cover the entire area. I love that there's a range of sizes available so that you can modify for your needs.
