Purchased this in hopes it would cover my pear shaped hips and rear without having a grandma swim dress look but also wanted it longer as I'm older. I'm body conscious and I am so glad I bought this as it does everything I wanted and more! This has an attached swim under-pant the same color as the skirt. The side tie can be adjusted slightly if you want to show more leg, and has a little sexy to it. You can release the tie if you want it to be a full skirt. The waist hits at the belly button and covers it. This swim skirt is just the right length for me - not too long and not to short so your rear checks won't show peeking out from the underpants on these - can I say thank you! This is also very flattering, comfortable, and slimming for being pear shaped. I bought the royal blue, which is really more of a cerulean blue, (think crayola crayon cerulean blue and that's the color). I paired this with a flowy tankini top, which had cerulean blue in it - so flipping cute! I followed the size chart, and purchased the XL - I'm 170lbs, with a 35 waist, 43.5 hip and it fit perfect. Very cute. I like that the bottoms are included, waist doesn't pinch or cause rolls if you get the right size. Doesn't hold up to chlorine. I used it for 4 weeks, 3 hours per week, and it became super stretched out and you can see the strands disintegrating. Sad because I really liked it.
