This t-shirt is really soft and feels great on the skin. The bamboo viscose material keeps me cool and comfortable even on warmer days. I like the fit because it is not too tight or too loose, just right for everyday wear. It works well as a casual shirt or as an undershirt, and the crew neck looks good with anything. The quality feels solid and it washes well without shrinking. Definitely a great basic tee to have in your wardrobe. Read more

This is a very nice , soft silky feeling T-shirt I bought for my adult son to wear under his Quarter-zip fleece. I like the moisture wicking property (pulling sweat away from the body). The t-shirt has a great fit and is light weight. This T-Shirt is a wonderful product! My son loves it and the length is perfect for his long body! Read more

Very soft and comfortable. Not a bad price at all. The material is light and good for layering. I am 5'10", 155# and ordered Medium since that is what I wear in most brands. It technically fits but I also got a large and that is more comfortable for me. Read more

I normally do don’t rave about t shirts but this one deserves praise. Everything from the fit to the feel of the material screams quality. Even the individual box it comes in was impressive. My only caveat is I have yet to launder it so I’m not sure of shrinkage. But so far I couldn’t be more pleased. Read more

I purchased about 5 different Tshirt brands from Amazon. This shirt has the right cut, a bit stretchy, but not too much and hangs perfectly. Also, wash and dry (in the dryer) then wear. No wrinkles. Very fair price, IMO Fit is true. However I prefer slightly slim fit, which this is! Did not shrink after first wash. Thickness is good, not to thin or thick for me. I would say the only thing to consider is that it can show your gut, if that’s a problem. So if I gained some weight in the midsection I may move up a size. As it fits now, is perfect ! Will be buying a number more! Read more

I approached these Pioneer Camp "bamboo" shirts with the hopeful anticipation of someone who's spent too many sweltering afternoons in cotton's sweaty, swampy embrace. The promise was alluring: bamboo's legendary cooling properties wrapped in "ultra soft" comfort. What arrived was a lesson in the gap between marketing dreams and fabric reality. Comfort: 3/5 stars: These shirts do deliver an upgrade from pure cotton's suffocating mediocrity. The bamboo content provides a noticeable improvement in softness and initial moisture management. However, here's where the story takes a turn: when you're mowing the lawn on a blazing summer day, this shirt will get wet and stay wet, just like its cotton cousin. The 48% cotton content ensures that bamboo's moisture-wicking superpowers are effectively neutralised. Value for Money: 2/5 stars At $14-20+ per shirt, you're paying premium prices for what's essentially cotton with benefits. Cotton is cheap. If I wanted cotton performance, I could get it for half the price at any big box store. Marketing Accuracy: 2.5/5 stars While "Bamboo Viscose T-Shirt" technically isn't false advertising, leading with bamboo when cotton comprises nearly half the fabric feels misleading. The Real Opportunity Pioneer Camp's own label states they're "upgrading fabric blends to make them softer and more stretchy." Here's how to actually deliver on that promise: Recommended blend: 80% bamboo rayon, 15% nylon, 5% elastane - 80% bamboo rayon maximises cooling and moisture-wicking - 15% nylon provides strength, silky smoothness and moderate stretch (cotton works against softness, cooling comfort and stretch) - 5% elastane optimizes stretch and recovery At your price point, nylon is absolutely affordable and would deliver the performance customers expect when they pay premium prices for "bamboo" shirts. Bottom Line These shirts represent a missed opportunity. They're better than pure cotton but fall short of their potential - and their price point's promises. With some thoughtful fabric engineering, Pioneer Camp could create something genuinely special instead of a cotton shirt wearing bamboo's marketing crown. Would I buy again? Not until they ditch the cotton and deliver on their upgrade promise. Read more
