Best coat, literally I just can’t believe it. My wife has one and I made fun of her because she wears it non stop. We had a trip to London a couple months ago and I needed a light weight winter jacket that was waterproof I liked the fact that it packs up very small and it would take up little room in my carry on. So I took a chance, man am I glad I did. It was amazing in those windy rain filled days traveling around England and we just had 2 weeks of 10 to 18 degrees with snow rain sleet and freezing rain and with a hoodie on underneath in that temp I never got cold. Very lightweight, comfortable, wind resistant, and compactable. Made of good quality polyester material and construction. Medium size true to fit. Versatile for three season wear. Nice styling and sewn in padded hood. Four large pockets, but would be better with a zippered chest pocket. Durability is unknown for now; does not appear to be rip-stop fabric. Had to return for replacement. This was likely a previously used/returned item, due to missing storage pouch, stuff sack, products tags, and strong odor of last wearer's perfume. Still recommend, but check to ensure your jacket is new, if you are paying for new. Good value when marked down. (Updated Feb 2026, in use since Oct 2026, nice and warm under a windbreaker, so increased to 5 stars. But better to wear under a winterparka when temperatures drop below 32 degrees, as during the recent three weeks of freezing snow and ice). Read more
I bought this Pioneer Camp Mens Lightweight Packable Puffer Jacket to have as a backup (spare) jacket in my winter car kit, since it includes a hood, has a water and wind resistant nylon outer shell, has some insulation for warmth (so it's not just a nylon windbreaker!), and can be compacted down take up only a small amount of space. The jacket seems reasonably well made for the price, and would definitely come in handy should I (or my traveling companions) need a emergency outer jacket if stuck out somewhere in the dead of winter. The puffer jacket comes in a black nylon zippered bag, but also has it's own green nylon stuff sack (inside a pocket) with a drawstring cord for use in packing the jacket for storage/transport. I don't know about the other reviewers, but the zipper on the black nylon bag I received was in good condition and was not broken or misaligned. In regards to the jacket's real-life size and fit, I'm 5'8" and weigh 225 lbs, so I am a big guy with a large torso (lol). I just knew a medium would not fit me, so that's why I bought the large instead. The size large just barely fit my torso (where I could zip up the jacket), with me wearing a t-shirt and a thin sweatshirt under it. I guess I could have gone with the size XL, but then the arm length would then be too long for me. So I would say that the large is really a large "slim", rather than a large "regular" or a large "large". So if you are around my height or a few inches taller but weigh less, then the size large should fit you well. Read more

A great lightweight and warm jacket that packs really tightly in its bag so it doesn't take up much space in a suitcase. It's my "go to" jacket when traveling during cold weather, allowing me to stay warm when on the road but pack it away easily when in the airport for example so I'm not carrying a big jacket around everywhere.
