I didn’t realize how much I needed a burger press until I tried this one. The Pisol Smash Burger Press is sturdy, easy to clean, and gives you that perfect restaurant-style crust every time. I’ve used it on the grill and stovetop, and it performs like a champ. Makes me look like I actually know what I’m doing in the kitchen. Love it! Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price, size and smooth surface. Works well: Tried it with italian sausage for it's first use. Its size and weight was perfect for keeping them in contact with the skillet for a good sear. Can't wait to try it on burgers. Read more

This is a very well made, very thick high quality item. Is not made out of plastic. It isxa heavy food grade metal. Very easy, and simple to use just smash the hamburger patties on the grill and it's that simple. Gets hot quick and holds the hear so definitely make sure to use the handle at all times. Easy to store in any cupboard. A drawer as well if it's deep. Read more
This is the best smash burger press Amazon has. It's heavy, well constructed and versatile. A few tips for using this cast iron smasher... season the smasher with avocado oil. Hand wash it, do not put it in the dishwasher. This is oversized as it smashed a 1/2 lb burger ball with plenty of surface left. We left it on top of a burger while it was cooking and it cut the cooking time in half. The only issue with that is it can only cover one maybe two patties. This was my third purchase of a smash burger press and by far the Pisol press is heavier, larger and didn't stick to any of the patties better than the other two different brands I already own.
