I really wanted to like this device, but it did not perform the way I hoped. For the price, I expected noticeable results, and unfortunately I did not see much improvement. You can adjust the intensity levels, but as I increased the settings, it became more uncomfortable without delivering better results. Instead of seeing gradual improvement, I mostly experienced irritation and discomfort. Given how expensive this is, I expected stronger performance and clearer results over time. I am not sold on this yet. I will say that the biggest benefit to using this over IPL hair removal is that you can use it on white hairs and moles. Because it is burning just the hair via contact with a tiny wire, it is not harmful to your skin from what I have read. I do wish the instructions were a little more specific in what the difference was between this and an IPL system. For example - I had to search online a lot to find out that you don't need the hair to be a certain length or just shaved to use this (like an IPL)... what I found suggested that having some hair for the electrode to touch is needed, but still, the information I did find was minimal. Just like an IPL system, the end gets warm, so use the setting your skin and handle, then take a break if it gets too hot. I have not had lasting success with this yet, but the included information does say that after many uses hair should not come back as quickly. The only thing I don't love so far is the smell of burning hair. I do like the use and movement of the system. It took a little bit to get used to, but it is very easy to glide across your skin. This hair remover works by heating up a thin metal wire that runs across your hair, which burns it off. I was about to give up on this as I tried it on my thick leg hairs and it did nothing at all. My friend took a stab at it and she had more luck on her thinner arm hairs. It seemed to be better at that, although it took multiple pass-throughs. When I mean multiple, I mean dozens. This claims to be semi permanent if you consistently use, though I do not know if this is true. When using, it does produce a little smoke and smell from your hair burning. It also can get very warm, depending on what level you are using, which are from 1 to 5. At level 5 it was very tolerable on arms and legs, but might be too hot to use on sensitive areas such as face or bikini line. The unit is easy to hold, light weight, and sturdy. The rubber on the handle was a terrible choice as it feels like overtime it will get sticky. It already is dirty and stuck with burned hair after 20 minutes of using it out the box. This is not a miracle hair remover that will magically erase all your hair. It takes time and patience to use. and even after multiple pass throughs, you won't be smooth like if you shave. The storage case that comes with it doesn't fit everything that it comes with, which makes it useless for storage. I guess its for only carrying the unit for travel? If it truly is semi permanent at reducing overall hair thickness, it might be something you want to try. Read more

I chose this product simply because it mentions no side effect compared to the laser hair removal. But the seller really needs to provide more information on how this works. I applied this today on my chest hair and I don't see any hair being removed. The manual should say whether the hair falls down on the first use or the second use or the 100th use? I am not sure if it made any difference to my hair. It's still long and crowded. And, there is a lot of warning on the manual so make sure to read them before you apply. I am not even sure if I will continue using it. But, I might as well use it for the next two to three weeks. If it works, I will update this review to five stars. If I still don't see any results, I will lower it to one star. Read more
