Very easy to install and simple directions. The camera is hefty and seems very solid. Mine is installed on a four door Jeep Wrangler in the tire on the back. I had plenty of cable to use. I used metal screws to attach the metal bracket and it is solid. It comes with a sticky pad to mount the camera as well as a nice bracket. I would think most users would want the bracket and not rely on the sticky pad. The directions give you instructions on which wires to cut if you want to simplify the camera view - you can have various combinations of lines on the screen or cut them all and just have a plain camera view. There are also wires to activate the camera on its own without having to put it in reverse or connect to the reverse light. They offer a 3 year warranty when you register (by sending them an email). I don’t anticipate using it since it seems very solid and pretty simple. I’m very impressed with the camera and look forward to using it. I didn’t grow up with backup cameras, but anymore, they’re extremely useful and convenient to have for cars that didn’t come with them from the factory. Read more

Camera works great so far! Love the different mounting options and the picture quality looks great on my new aftermarket stereo. Read more

Great camera. Easy install and very clear image. Also like that it has a built in LED in the power cord that gives you confirmation that the camera is getting power. Great for troubleshooting those sometimes intermittent connections. Read more

Install is fairly easy. Camera is of decent quality but I am unsure if it is 1080P so I deducted a star. Lose up items look decent but farther away looks very grainy and pixelated. I also was impressed by them adding a ring terminal connector for the grounding point on the wires, which is different from all the other manufacturers selling similar cameras. This is very helpful and appreciated. Took me about 30-40 minutes to test the camera and get it installed. I used the license plate mount and centered it on my 2017 Lexus CT200h. I was unable to put it in the same spot as the OEM Lexus one so I just removed it. But It matches the OEM look almost perfectly. It is nearly invisible once installed properly. The guidelines were surprisingly mostly accurate with the angling I did but I might cut later on if necessary. I also measured how wide of a viewing angle it provides and it was about 4.5 feet out from either side of my car. I found the price to be barely slightly higher but the quality was the best out of the 3 cameras I bought and tested. Read more

Installed two of these on a 2009 Honda Odyssey--one as a backup camera and one as a front-facing camera, both connected to a Jensen CAR813 tablet-style head unit (I installed the front cam because the head unit natively supports two cameras, so why not?). The image from both cameras is very clear--much better than the OEM backup cam and the aftermarket front cam on my 2022 Toyota 4Runner. The cameras appear to be durable and well-made. Kit includes both stickytape/adjustable-bracket and license-plate mounts. The included RCA cable was plenty long enough to run all the way to the back of the minivan with plenty to spare. But I had to buy an extension camera cable (also sold by PixelMan--"2.5mm backup camera extension cable") for the front cam because there was no way to run the fatter RCA connector though the Odyssey's ridiculously tight firewall. Anyway, these appear to be worth what they're charging, and my wife is happy (so I'm happy!). Time will tell how well they hold up. The warranty is 3 years--which is probably longer than the minivan will last! Read more

I bought this in combination with a new all-screen head unit to replace my old factory stereo in a 1995 BMW M3 (E36). Routing the very long, provided cable from behind the stereo unit to the back of the car was fairly easy. The wiring instructions were accurate, but not very detailed, so I watched a few Youtube videos on wiring a backup camera to better understand all the connections. Due to my license plate being very tight against the trunk lock assembly, I had to mount the camera off center, but it resulted in a very stealthy installation and still works very well. Due to the offset mounting, I appreciated the option to "cut the white wire" to turn off the built-in parking assist lines and use the lines built into my head unit, which I could adjust for the slightly skewed viewpoint. The image is clear. The fuzziness you see in the photos is mostly due to the low resolution of my screen (only about 600x400 pixels for the camera image). Perfectly adequate for parking or seeing pedestrians. The viewing angle is very wide and I have mounted it so that the bottom of the screen can see the ground about 18 inches from the back of my car. The red line in the pictures corresponds to 3 feet and the green line is about 10 feet away. I have not yet tested the camera in the dark, but one of the reasons I purchased this unit was the low lux rating, so I expect it to work well with just my car's backup lights. I'll update this review once I have some nighttime samples. Read more

Camera is great. Good clarity, works well with my head unit. Was pretty easy to install. Blends in well with the back of the car, not very noticeable. Mounted very easily. Read more
