Wonderful

This is not my first pixie cup, or menstraul cup in general. From my experience pixie cups are the best quality and most comfortable. This set comes in a compact bag, very cute, won't take up much space. This is my first experience with the applicator. It went very well! I did pinch myself a little but I've never used it before so user error. Make sure you put a foot on the tub, otherwise the cup will have a hard time unfolding. And make sure to feel it and make sure it's sealed, give it a tug if not. Don't be discouraged if you don't get it right away! Cups are so much healthier for us and the environment! And periods are so stressful. Allow yourself patience and understanding. Give yourself grace. Don't get frustrated :) Read more

WOW. Way Better than DivaCup and Saalt!!!

frumblebuckFebruary 4, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I had been using Diva cup (model 1) for seven years. There was a learning curve, but once I got it I (mostly) got it, and accepted there would always be some leaks. I realized it had been far too long since I replaced it, so went shopping. I tried the smallest Saalt cup because I heard it could reduce cramps. Absolutely hated it. It leaked constantly and I could almost never get it to open, even after two months. Then i tried Pixie, the small (yellow). OH MY GOD. Where has this thing been all my life!!!!! The thing with cups is they are pretty easy to insert, and remove (you just have to bear down, and they will come back down so you can reach the stem). The issue is getting them to OPEN once they are inside you. Saalt never did. Diva would take some finagling, tugging and twisting, even after years of use. For some reason, and I really wish I knew why, Pixie opens so much easier. I barely have to try. It just WORKS. It also seems to leak way less than the Diva cup ever did. If you are comparing Diva cup size 1 with Pixie, GO WITH PIXIE. They are almost the exact same volume and width. I also think this would be a great cup for a first time cup user. It just...opens! Prefer the Applicator Over Fingers

JoleenDecember 26, 2025✓ Verified purchase

After using the applicator, I prefer it over using my fingers. The applicator helps me position a cup high enough without manually pushing it further. I've only used it at home since I can easily clean it, but it's compact enough for travel and it comes with a storage case (I would make sure to bring wipes for on-the-go cleaning). Using it with lube is much easier and more comfortable. Read more

How to remove w/o hurting, read here

T DzhafariAugust 30, 2019✓ Verified purchase

(Reviewing from husband’s account because that’s how I bought it) ***TMI ALERT*** I got the 2 pack. Today is my first day. -Don’t think that the large cup is only for mothers or bigger girls or even experienced cup users. I’m a 5 foot 105lbs, never had kids, my...”heavenly gates” are pretty small and the large cup is perfect. I tried the small - it just wouldn’t open up while in, but the large one snaps right into place, zero discomfort, doesn’t feel like it’s bigger when in (in fact, i don’t feel it at all) I used the large one my very first “go time”. So I’d say, go for the large one. -Wore it all day, only took out to rinse twice: once during the day and once before bed. Get this: all day - NO MESS! Gotta go to the bathroom - no need to change tampon, nothing seeps down the messy string, so the underwear stays clean -no bloaty “full tampon” feeling -no sweaty lukewarm pads -you know that feeling when you’ve just switched the tampon and you forget you did and you hop into the shower and think “damn. I’ll either need a new tampon or it’s a wet string in the underwear all day”? Yea. None of that anymore. Same with going to the bathroom (remember the days when you’ve put a new one in and THEN you needed to pee? Ugh) -i didn’t cut the stem - it’s very comfortable, I don’t feel it whatsoever. -taking it out hurt the first time because I just pulled it by the stem all the way out and the last bit HURT. What you need to do is pull a little bit and then press your finger into the base as if you would to fold it. Just a little bit, don’t squeeze it so much that you spill, but do fold it a little. Do it like that and it won’t hurt at all on the way out. You’ll get a hang of it. -the little holes at the top are a bit hard to clean, but not that hard. -only felt cramps for a few minutes at the very beginning. No more cramps all day and my first/second day is Usually the worst. In conclusion, I’m sooo happy, I can’t believe I didn’t buy sooner. Seriously. I’d recommend it to every woman I know and don’t know. Read more
