Properly sized (nice and large) for big hands and big dog piles. Where others have come up short, like the handle bags when the handles flop around and drag through the poop, or the size is just too small, these are strong and generously sized for most pooper scooping tasks, keep my hands safely away from the mess, and amply strong to keep it contained for the ride to the waste bin. Unlike many other so-called compostable pet waste bags that have microplastics as binders, the Planet Poop brand is 100% plant based and 100% compostable with no tradeoff in functionality. They're more expensive to manufacture, but I feel good about about disposing my pet waste in the most environmentally friendly way possible. To me, they are well worth the premium price. Read more

These bags are actually great. The standard size is pretty generously proportioned—bigger than many poop bags I’ve used. I can easily pick up two poops (40 pound medium sized dogs) per bag. They’re also soft and almost cloth like compared to stiff cheap plastic bags. They don’t seem like they’d ever tear accidentally. Last, they’re super easy to open; there’s a clear indication of which side is up, and their soft texture makes them a cinch to separate at the top. I get really frustrated with bags that are hard to get open, especially when holding two antsy dogs on two leashes. Read more

Sturdy, useful bags. I’ve only had a couple rip while using out of the hundreds if not thousand we have gone through. Easily better than the plastic black ones at the dog poop stands. Fits nice into pockets while on walk and easily has fit most leash bag containers. Love the compostable aspect and the cardboard boxes it comes in. Read more

Rare product that will decompose in landfills where there is no oxygen to help the process. Don't be fooled by other bags simply because they are labeled green, recycled, or decomposeable. Read more
