Ok, after buying a bunch of different brands of "enviro" friendly dog poop bags, I decided to purchase these. They are by far the best I've used and they actually break down into nothingness over the course of several weeks in the outside. I tested it by hanging a plain bag in the sun and exposed to the elements. It will start to really break down in about 2 weeks and after about 3 weeks there's hardly anything left. Now, the big question - will you get dog poo on your hands? No. These bags feel durable and have a soft matte feel to it. They are durable. I have a small/med sized dog that makes poop the size of an large man's palm - picks up easy and not leaks. These poop bags are great! Very sturdy and easy to open (some of the compostable bags can be thinner and more challenging to open). They are constructed out of a durable but nicely textured material. I really liked the packaging which is very cute. The best part was the sweet message I received from the manufacturer - a small family operation - following up from the sale and offering their assistance if any issues.
