These were as good or better than much more expensive brands. I'm returning them because the arch isn't sturdy enough. My flat feet mash them down. If you are looking for a strong arch that will keep its shape under 175lbs of flat footed nonsense you should look elsewhere. I’m 75 yo and need more support than ever before. Like most other products, it’s no longer easy to find what you need in stores or to know what you’re really going to get when you order online. But these inserts are so amazing that I became giddy with delight. No, seriously! The arch support is stellar - higher and more stable than any other insert I’ve had. I wear a woman’s 8 1/2 shoe and the insert’s arch support curves my entire arch without feeling stiff or uncomfortable as I walk and without giving away under my 150 lbs. I’m also impressed that the rest of the insert is strong enough to easily slide up to the toe end of my shoes, yet flexible enough to be comfortably cut to fit (arthritis in my hands usually makes this a painful endeavor!). Looking at the quality of material and workmanship in these inserts it’s apparent they will last a long time for me.
