I wanted these to work. When I first put them in my running shoes, they felt SO comfortable. But after the first mile, my inner sides of my arches started to hurt. The hard molding was rubbing against the inside of both feet. I tried the insoles in another pair of running shoes with the same results. My feet are old and troublesome, so more youthful feet may not have the same problem. The insole is soft and sturdy. I love the cushion. It’s just this hard part on the middle of the insole for the foot that begs me to return them and keep looking for the perfect insoles. That’s why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. I bought these because I've been having problems with plantar fasciitis. They were easy to trim to fit inside my shoes. They're made of high quality materials. They're thick enough to add some cushioning but not so thick that you can't fit your foot in your shoe with them.
