Perfect ice scoop for daily use!
Excellent ice scoop for my in-freezer ice maker. It is a great size (not too huge, shovels about two handfuls of med-sized ice cubes). What I really like is that the spout is angled gently, and *exactly* the right size for funneling into a normal drinking glass opening. The spout is graduated and tapered so that the ice cubes don't fall over the side of the drinking glass. Perfect! I also purchased one that was similar shape and size in stainless steel for use with ice bucket/entertaining. However, this scoop is ideal for keeping in the freezer drawer next to the dispenser so it is handy and readily accessible, but isn't too cold to hold and won't freeze to my fingers if there's any water/moisture on them. Highly recommend! Lastly, I returned some other ones previously because they arrived with BPA warnings. I purchased this specifically because it is BPA-free, in addition to all of the great features listed above. Read more
