Oh my gosh, these boots are so cute! They come out nice white box with each boot individually wrapped in a non-woven bag stuffed with foam so that they maintain their shape. I typically wear a size 10 wide and worried that these would be a little tight in the width. They had plenty of room in the width for my feet. Unfortunately, I found them just slightly too short in the toes. I would definitely size up if you tend to have a wide foot or need a longer toebox. They felt like they would be plenty warm. Ever since the push against companies that use animal products such as leather got so big that most did away with leather entirely instead of making faux alternatives available for a cheaper price, because typically fake leather isn't as durable, breathable, warm, comfortable, and doesn't stand up to time,if it ever stood up at all, but fake was rebranded as vegan leather, a positive, a responsible choice, not an inferior substitute, and the price and marketing makes it hard to discern "vegan" from real online, and as responsible to the planet or to your budget as you want to be, and however nice looking it might be brand new,it remains hard to find a boot that doesn't turn into a shapeless plushy Walmart slipper bootie immediately and impossible to find a substitute for the real thing that holds up in the warmth, insulation and breathability in winter department, But this boot has done the impossible What I was expecting: it said suede and insulated and snow boots, so I expected real suede, not vegan, I expected reasonable thickness similar to an ugg when looking at it but probably doesn't stay as thick when on, faux interior (fake fur but a thick synthetic insulation layer) because obviously for the price it's not going to be sheepskin, and you don't need real fur inside of every real leather boot to have comfort and warmth) and the faux interior attached to felt or something instead of solid sheepskin would smoosh down a little bit hopefully still be warm .or because it said snow boots, I thought that the outside might not be suede like at all and more like a children's snow boot 👍So immediately the interior is obviously faux, but that's totally fine, looks nice and thick atleast, the fur. The thickness is actually really surprising, it's hard to see in the picture but it's very much like an ugg, and once on it holds it's shape and thickness and warmth, the insulation and cushioning effect similar to ugg took me by surprise, I thought this would be a bit more fashion less function as anything winter and faux/vegan leather never actually holds up as snow boots I wasn't entirely sure if it was real suede or not until I looked closer at the stitches.its a really good imitation, it feels real looks real, and I wore it a few times and got smudges just like real suede and had to rub them out which worked they still look great and they really kept my feet dry and warm in bad new England weather but didn't suffocate them either inside Only thing is it's a little small. Nothing unwearable. But I deal with swelling so I always get a half size bigger, and I'm wearing thick winter socks and it's a little tight (without swelling) so it might be an issue when the swelling happens but I haven't worn them long enough yet, just short excursions, so I would say for winter socks or feet that swell, go up a half size .
