These platform boots are very big and chunky! I wear a size 10 and ordered a size 10. They were about half a size too big. They are fully lined in fleece which will keep the feet very warm. The suede type fabric on the outside is very soft and smooth. The shoelaces are long enough and seem to be very good quality. They are a little heavier than other boots, but the sole of the shoe is very thick and sturdy. They have a decent amount of tread on the sole which should help prevent slipping in inclement weather. It feels a little awkward to walk in them because of the shape of the shoe and how chunky they are, but also because my heel keeps sliding out. If I'm wearing them with short socks, it actually causes the sock to slide off of my heel and become uncomfortable. There are only two sets of holes for lacing, and they aren't really able to be laced tightly to keep the shoe from slipping. If the laces were longer, I might be able to wrap them around the boots a few extra times to help with that, but the laces aren't long enough for that. I wish they fit better because they actually look really cute and the material is very good quality. Unfortunately, these will eventually go in the donate bin due to the poor fit. Read more
