This ball is pretty sturdy and large. I have a large dog, but I wouldn’t want to throw this at him to catch simply because of how hefty it is. He has no trouble picking it up and will chew and squeak it from time to time. There are a couple dents in it, but nothing worrying. It does make for some great fetch in tall grass for retrievers though, so that’s been a fun game for us. This is Oso‘s third playology jumbo squeaker ball and he loves it. I thought the smell was going to be kind of funky and he wouldn’t like it, nor would we. But we all like it. The scent on this toy is fantastic and my dog somehow knew it was for her before I even showed it to her. As soon as I opened the package she ran over begging for it. She absolutely loves it. The ball is really well made with a good weight to it, but she can still squeeze it enough to get it to squeak. The ball does have a strong scent of cloves to me, and I can not tell if it makes the toy any more fun or enticing than any of his other balls. The size is perfect for him to fit in his mouth and chew on which he likes when playing in the house. it is a little tough to get it to squeak and he has other balls that seem to have the perfect chewing ability that he prefers. It is a good outside ball with the orange color and durability. For my dog I do not think the scent is any more appealing than any other ball. Read more
