Get the digital version This console is arguably the best in the world and has indistinguishable graphics and performance from its competitor the Xbox series X which is $150 more. The slim model still performs the same while being cheaper and taking up less space. If you ever want to get a disc drive in the future, you can buy one and attach it to the console, meaning your not stuck with digital games permanently, so there is no reason not to get the digital version. The controller is good quality and is quite durable, I have accidentally dropped it many times and it has remained practically unscarred. Very happy! For some reason, this version being the exact same as the other digital version, was $100 less, AND it came with the Fortnite digital content. Already purchased a dust cover and stand for the horizontal, already had a 2TB SSD I’m going to swap, but learned it requires an aftermarket heat sink because it does not have one you can use when replacing the drive. Quick tutorial for swapping to a bigger SSD, you MUST have a heat sink that will fit. Amazon does have some for cheap, but when you put the new SSD in, the PS5 auto detects and will install the PlayStation operating system. Much better than before, you needed a USB to transfer the operating system to the PS5 with the new SSD installed. The controller is VERY sensitive! Which is great for CoD and other games. Have not used the Fortnite code, don’t play it, but the cost is amazing for the digital, and you can easily upgrade pieces of this. Disk drive on Amazon is the best option, or GameStop if they have them used or on sale. Upgrading this is still cheaper than the Pro. Read more
