I bought this garment bag to use inside my granddaughters competition bag for dance. It was a perfect size her costume spit right in. It had pockets on the outside to tuck in tights, hair accessories, jewelry. There was a see-through pocket up on the top so you could tell what costume was inside the bag Which also was very useful. it was large enough to hold her costumes and probably any other dance costume. That would have to be used for a normal competition. Also was room to put shoes or other other accessories in the bottom. The zipper opened from the top to the bottom, making it easy to access the things that were inside. This is a great bag. I recommend it for anyone who is searching for a garment bag to place costumes in for dance competition or gymnastics competition whatever that you might have to change costumes and want to keep them in a place so that you have all the pieces to that dance together. I used these bags for my kids horse show clothes. As most people know anything horses is dirty so we always keep their show clothes in a garment bag until right before they go on. Considering the price these bags have been pretty durable. We have towed them back-and-forth two monthly shows for the past 3 1/2 years. These are perfect length for my closet. I can get my suits and sport coats in them and they barely touch the sides and bottom. They come folded and I noticed at the seams of the fold that I can see light though them. Maybe they were folded too long or too tight. It appears minor, but worth a mention. It won't affect me, but someone carrying them around a lot might encounter a problem. I also added zipper pulls as the main zipper goes up under a flap. I do like the little window that lets me see what's inside without opening the bag. The extra plastic at the top where the hanger hook comes out is a plus as it will help keep it sealed. I searched a long time to find the right sized garment bag. Most are 40 to 44 inches, and longer, so they drag on the floor of my closet where I want to hang them. I am using these bags to store men's shirts and pants that I only use a few times a year. I was almost to the point of thinking that no one made a 36 inch long bag, Then I happened across these garment bags and they are perfect. I can hang 4 or 5 shirts in each one, and they easily will hold three or four pairs of pants. They look to be well made. These bags are marketed for dance costumes but I purchased them to store my husband's suits. Our closet has a double-rod configuration and the garment bags I was using were several inches too long. I wanted light, breathable bags with a window and these are perfect for my purpose. They are sturdy and will keep the garments dust-free and ready to wear. I don't really need the zippered pockets but what a great feature to have for dance costumes. I wish I'd had bags like this back in the day to organize my kids' clothing. Keep in mind that the bags are not intended for heavy use like travel. I ordered a set of three, was impressed by the quality for the price and got another set for my suits and winter jackets.
