My daughter already has a nightlight in her room, but, as it appears to be the case with many children nowadays, unicorns are "in," so I decided to surprise my daughter with a new unicorn-themed night light and bought these. The battery life has been, thus far, excellent, and, to my surprise, these night lights are light-sensitive: they shine brighter as the evening/night sets in ("brighter" not meaning blinding light, of course). It's a 'dimmer' light so, if you leave it plugged in, it'll turn off as the room brightens. :) It doesn't have a changeable bulb so once it's done/burned out, it's done. Read more
