This is a lovely sweater. I chose it in yellow and it’s a softer shade of yellow (a bit darker than butter yellow I’d say ) that is just as pictured. You can tell there is some wool in the mix of the fabric but it’s still soft and cozy and hasn’t been itchy at all on me. The tags on this sweater state something just a little different than the listing does as far as the fabric and the care instructions are a little different. The tags state this consists of: 46.7% Polyester (listing states from recycled materials) 31.9% Acrylic 12.5% Nylon 7.3% Wool 1.6% Spandex The care instructions state to hand wash in cold water and to hang or lay flat to dry in the shade. Do not dry clean. The listing says it’s machine washable. I’m opting to hand wash this then run it through my machines spin cycle and then lay it flat to dry. At the most I might dare to wash it on the delicate cycle of my machine as I feel this would probably be fine. This is made with a tight knit and it looks to be sewn well. The buttons are securely attached and there’s an extra button included. One thing I do with extra garment buttons is I keep them in a small box in my closet with a little note stapled to the bag that the button comes in, with what garment it goes to. Saves me from searching endlessly to find what button goes to what should I need one. I have no complaints with this sweater at all. I did size up to an XXL as I wanted a little extra room should I want to layer it over another top. It does look fine on its own with a light beige colored bra and fits just how I had hoped. The bottom hem goes to my hips and the arms are roomy enough for my thicker upper arms. I can comfortably wear this buttoned up but it also looks fine not buttoned. This can be dressed up or down with slacks or a skirt for the office or with jeans for more casual fare. It’s one of the nicer sweaters I’ve gotten online this year. For reference I’m 5’4” / 38C / 166-167 lbs. An XL would have probably also been fine for me but again I wanted a little roomier fit so went with an XXL. No regrets. Read more
I've gotten so many compliments on this sweater. The color is a perfect warm royal blue. The cut fits me very well - I'm a 5'5" 2X with a large top and hips. The sweater falls just over my hips. I leave it unbuttoned, and the thickness of the material makes the sides stay in place nicely so I don't have to fuss with them a lot. The button holes are a tight fit over the buttons, so when I do use them, they don't float. The material is thick and warm, great for this time of year. It is really soft and comfortable. The ribbing on the sleeves is nice and tight, and pushing it up my forearms a bit hasn't yet stretched them out. This is a classic look with lots of versatility - it's perfect for casual nights out or office business casual. I purchased this cardigan in the royal blue for $34 and loved it so much that I bought a second one in black when it went on sale for $14. Although it’s described as “lightweight,” I wouldn’t consider it light at all—it’s surprisingly warm, which makes it perfect for my cool office. Despite being labeled as “cropped,” it doesn’t fit that way on me. I’m 5’10”, and the length falls just below my waist, which I actually prefer. The texture looks similar to boiled wool, giving it a more elevated, structured appearance, and I get compliments every time I wear the blue one. The black version looks great as well, and I plan to replace the buttons with something a bit dressier to make it more business-professional. This brand is becoming a favorite of mine. The fit seems to made for plus sizes, and most styles are flattering. This sweater is good quality. It contains some wool and it has a woolen sole to give it a rich look. The care instructions recommend hand washing and lay flat to shape and dry. I have found that mist all their clothes have hand wash and hang to dry, but I have had no trouble machine washing them. With the wool in this sweater, it might shrink if heat dried. The color is spot on. The royal blue color in my pics is the true color, not the grayish color. The sizing is spot on for standard American sizing. I generally wear a 2-3xl I women plus and the 3 xl fits perfectly. It’s is soft, but it dies have a slight wool feel g to it. It’s lighter weight, comfortable and looks great on. Read more
