Turns off constantly. Gets very hot very fast. For th price it sold for, you would think it would come in a box not just a ziplock bag. I have many torches and never an issue w a new torch where it hums and flame is unsteady. I have it on med and the flame just constantly burst as if it has air and I just got it and filled it. This lighter is a unique find for sure. Primarily I was looking for a reliable little torch to attach to my lighter leash, and seeing as i've tried many other amazon torch lighters in the past, I didn't have my hopes set to high as to not be left disappointed... But this torch was an unexpected gem. It seems to be well built, as virtually none of this lighter is plastic it seems. From the looks and feel of it, It seems to be made of mainly metal and the gas reservoir seems to be made of glass (though i could be wrong as this is purely speculation.) The main thing i am happy with is that it works well with my lighter leash and, because it is made of metal, has not broken off of it, nor does it weigh my lighter leash down (I have a standard bic lighter leash found for sale in most smoke shops for reference.) One other thing i'd like to mention and made me feel appreciated was that the owner of the small business that I bought it from reached out to me first without any initial contact from myself beforehand. I must say, I've gotten many incentives from my past purchases in mainly gift cards for my reviews, but this is the first time I can recall that I have been contacted initially by the business owner I purchased from asking me how I like the item and thanking me for my support of his/her small business, and their genuine appreciation. The only reason i gave this item 4 stars is because sometimes the button on the lighter gets stuck when released, which leaves the flame burning, but this only happens every once in awhile and i suppose this is from this item being new, as with time and usage i assume the problem will fix itself. Other than that, I cannot say anything genuinely bad about this purchase, as it is small enough to not weigh down my lighter leash, well built so seemingly built to last, and at this price point of around 9 bucks, its definitely my new go to torch to have clipped to my wasteband. My utmost and sincere appreciation goes out to the owner for taking a small amount of time out of their day to let me know they care, which is sadly too seldomly done in my personal experience. This is probably my fault for not reading the description well enough but this thing is little. Smaller than expected but I can live with that. It has an all metal housing so if you have to keep it lit for more than a couple of seconds it gets HOT. I’m talking this thing gets hot with a quickness. Would not buy again Read more
