I can’t say enough nice things about this dvd player. It came fast, well packaged and intuitive to use. The sound is of good quality, and the image is crisp. It loads dvds fast, and I especially like that it doesn’t matter what region the dvd is from. I have another, smaller one of the same brand that I have used for months on road trips and it has worked amazing for us, but this one is on another level. I expect it will be just as dependable and useful, but the large, bright screen (all photos were taken in full sun and it’s still bright enough to watch a movie) is a huge advantage. Also the ability to fold the player and the included car mount are awesome, and saving me propping up the player on pillows between the seats. All around very happy with it. Read more

Great portable DVD player! I was so tried of dealing with iPads on trips & decided to get a couple portable dvd players. Easy enough to keep my 3-9 year olds entertained and they all can operate it! Comes with a remote control, back of headrest mount, AV cable, wall plug in & car charger. Truly all you need to go on a road trip. It looks nostalgic to the dvd player I had as a child but has a better quality screen! The battery life has not been a problem and turns on right out of the box. Read more

I purchased the Pofoto portable DVD player 12.5", and I am very pleased! It's a perfect size for taking in the car on road trips. It comes with an AC plug, car charger, av cord, and a remote control. It's slim and can fit in my purse when needed. It's buttons are shiny chrome color and easy to see and use if you're not using the remote control. It's definitely kid friendly with easy to use buttons. I haven't yet hooked it up to my TV. Picture quality is excellent and I can watch 2 full movies on it before I charge it again. Screen size is perfect and the audio is loud enough to enjoy with out headphones. My dvd loads up fast and plays perfectly. Haven't took it on a trip yet, but it seem pretty light weight and easy to carry around. Read more

I bought this as an alternative to downloading movies to a tablet from a streaming service. I still do that, but I like a second option when traveling. DVD movies are going the way of the dinosaur which means I can buy them at a thrift store for cheap. I researched the reviews and this one had far better percentage of positive ones than the competition. I explored all of the normal features and they work as advertised. The audio is loud enough to be used without having to use an external headset. But I did test my headset by plugging it into the 3.5 mm jack on the side of the machine and it worked just fine. Unfortunately, the machine does not have the capability to Blu-tooth to external headset, but my headset has cord and Blu-tooth capability. It comes with a remote. Nice feature, but it needs to be pointed directly at the front of the player. Any deviation up or down inhibits its function. If the design people are reading this, then you should have put a pocket on the carry case to accommodate that remote. The carry case is actually designed to attached to the head rest of a car seat for kid friendly use, but the flexible case serves as handy travel protection. Any product that comes with an easy to read, logically laid out operator manual gets high praise from me. This one does. I am so tired of trying to read a manual that is printed in such tiny text that I need a huge magnifying glass to read it. The menu features several adjustment methods. The video can be adjusted 5 ways. The only negative I have is the viewing angle is a bit limited. The screen pretty much needs to be at a 90 degree angle. That is a similar default of laptops, as well. But then I don't have to hold this player in my hand like I do a tablet. It has a SD slot which is nice. 32 GB storage limit. The control button functions on the unit are clearly marked and easily read. The adverting hype says "easily transforms your TV into a cinemaIt". To do that, it comes with AV cable. But those are also going the way of the dinosaur. It should have been designed to use HDMI cables. Current state of the art smart TVs usually do not have AV plugs. I chose the 10.5 inch screen. It is actually a bit less than that, but it is perfect for my travel needs. Other than my nit picking, I cannot find anything wrong with the player. Read more
