This is my second order of POKARLA boxer briefs. My first set was years ago, and after trying several other brands, these are the only ones that truly stood the test of time. I wear them daily — for comfort, workouts, and even martial arts training. They’re not the most breathable pair out there — some brands wick sweat faster — but those didn’t last, and they either cut off circulation when tight or gave me wedgies when loose. These strike the perfect balance. During BJJ, they might ride up a little on the thighs, but they don’t cut off circulation or flash more details than I want my training partner to see! The fabric stays soft, the waistband holds up, and the fit still feels right after countless washes. Durable, comfortable, and tough enough for the mat — these boxer briefs earned my loyalty. Update after nine months of use. So I have been rotating the six or so pairs I have now constantly for the last nine months. I have yet to have one rip anywhere, which beats out Munsingwear by an incredible margin. They still fit like new, as well, which is very surprising. They also still look like new, which isn't something I cared about, but it's pretty cool to see. The colors are still how they looked when I got them, with no fading that I can notice. I still wash them in cold water and dry on low heat, and none have any stains or "typical" marks from use. I wish I had known about this brand before I wasted my money on the Rippingwears....err, Munsingwears. Original Review: I really liked Munsingwear underwear. At least the size of it. However, even with me treating them gently, they just end up ripping all over the place and become practically unusable in a short time. So, rather than buy another set, I tried this underwear. I will update this review later if anything changes, but right now, these are my go-to. In order to test them, I've worn the first set of four I got and have washed them (cold water, low dry) four or five times already, as I've had them for a few weeks. I have noticed that each time I put them on, it's like it's the first time. They've held their shape that well so far. I haven't noticed any holes or other issues, and this is what I will be checking them for in order to update if there's a problem. They are comfortable and stretch well for me. When first putting them on, there's some adjustments that need to be made for total comfort, but that's not a big deal. They sometimes slide down a bit at the waistband, but that may just be how they fit on me, so I don't consider it an issue. I just ordered another pack of them in the hopes they continue keeping the same quality, or at least do so for a reasonable amount of time. Clothes eventually wear out (except, apparently, for a certain model of jogging pants I have owned and used for 20 years...wow), but there's a point where it's expected and one where it's just way too soon to be worth it. The Munsingwears are at the latter point, and I'm hoping these will be examples of the former. Read more
Fresh material and comfortably fit. The Spandex material allows me to extend my legs and keep moving with enough flexibility. The top elastic is well manufactured and the size runs complete for an XL. Great for a person who sleeps in boxers. Great quality. I would recommend it. Packing is good. Great value Read more
I have purchased these many times over the last two or three years now. I find the fabric very comfortable, even after many washings and wear when they steretch out. Wast band wide so no binding on hips. They are comfortable around leg openings, even when sitting. I have a issue with itching and the only issue I notice is they tend to wear through quicker than some. The comfort out ways this however. I definitely would recommend these. Read more
I have only used Tommy underwear for 10 years +. I like the fit and comfort, but their quality has going way down hill. I've tried every damn brand out there. From expensive brands to low cost, but they were too tight, too loose, uncomfortable. But, I love these. The cost was good and I can't feel them. Its like wearing nothing, but still having support to everything in place. Also, myself (and others) like the look. Read more
I've washed and worn these briefs only a few times so I can't evaluate the durability. I can say the fit, comfort and appearance are all good and, given the price, the value is also good. These Pokarla briefs are not high end -- no multicolor stitching and very plain construction -- but they are an easy recommendation for everyday use. Read more
Usually when I see an odd name like POKARLA, or other no-name-brand items, Im hesitant to purchase them as Im worried they will be poorly made. Clothes especially! However, these boxer briefs are awesome. I used to only buy IZOD boxer briefs, but once they stopped making a certain kind and then upped the price, I started searching, bought a few duds, and then found these. Now, this is my go-to brand and I prefer them over all the others! If you are a big dude like I am (6'4 345lb) then these are for you. They last a long time, are completely breathable, and are as soft and durable as the name brand boxers. Still not a fan of the name, but that fades away once you put them on. Highly recommend!
