The plastic protective packaging was excellent and ensured the products arrived in perfect condition. I really appreciate this extra level of protection, as it clearly shows whether the item has been tampered with and prevents any damage during shipping. I ordered two of these boxes! The card variety was excellent, and I was lucky enough to pull the Mega Gardevoir ex SIR, which was an awesome hit and made the opening even more exciting. Pokemon Card Game Mega Symphonia Booster Box (Japanese) - 30 Packs The package came sealed and all packs were included as expected. The box did have some shipping damage but the cards were all in good condition. The box contained 30 packs with 5 cards per pack, the box contained 6 holographic cards, 4 ex cards and 5 full art cards. These were the same quantities received from the Pokemon Center 2 pack we opened. This is a smaller set numbered to 63 plus the full art cards, because of the low number of common cards there were a lot of duplicates. From a cost standpoint; while we did get one of the chase cards from this box, the other two we opened didn’t come out as lucky, so the average return value wasn’t there. Oddly enough all 3 boxes included a mega signal as one of the full art cards. Overall I like this set, the coloring of the ex cards are very vibrant and there are some nice full art cards. Card centering looks good and we are considering sending a couple off for grading. Because of the expected pull rates Japanese boxes are fun to open but with the current cost per box compared to the cost per card buying the card you want may be a better deal, that said we will most likely get another box or two if they drop below the $70 range. At the time of review we paid $99 for the box from Amazon, and $65 each plus shipping for the 2 boxes from Japan, and while it was slightly cheaper to have them shipped in the added security of buying through Amazon is a big plus. Ideally these should be around $50-$60 but with the current market it may take a while to get back there. Read more

As a frequent buyer of japanese sets, this box raised some flags.The "hits" are quite literally the same 2 cards in every glowing review. All "hits" were in the right side of the box opposite the side of the damage, yet even on the undamaged side the packs all had the same corner piece that looked off. box practically fell apart opening....(battle partners set pack for comparison from a completely dif seller). also, packs to me felt resealed, way too many base card to hits with perforations along the seam with over gluing in a few pack along the seam. 96 bucks for me to immediately get a gut feeling like my box was resealed (almost too well). At least let it be a gamble as the makers inteded without pilfering through em. If this is genuinely a truely sealed product, I wanna know whos going through them before they get sold to the seller. Not gonna send it back to get resealed, just gonna leave this here to warn future buyers. Read more
