I’ve been using both the RayBan Meta Gen 1 and Gen 2 smart glasses, and honestly, these things are next-level cool. The fact that the lens frames for both versions are the same size (50mm) means you can swap out lenses and accessories between them, which is super convenient. The models I have are the RW4006 (Gen 1) and RW4012 (Gen 2), and the mirrored polarized lenses I’m using here will be used with both pairs. Swapping the lenses is ridiculously easy. Even if you’re not a DIY person, you’ll have no problem popping them in and out. Just flex the lens with the curve and push through gently. They’re thin, flexible, and just snap right in. It’s one of those things that feels way more complicated until you actually try it. And yes, do yourself a favor and remove the plastic film before wondering why everything looks foggy. Learned that one the hard way. The mirrored lenses themselves are dark, sleek, and perfect for sunny days. They offer full UV protection and polarization, so things look crisper, colors pop, and your eyes don’t get fried. I tried mixing one orange and one blue lens just for fun, and hey, it looked cooler than I expected. Also love that you can carry a few different lens types in the included case. I usually keep photochromic or prescription ones handy depending on what I’m doing that day. Big bonus—these mirrored lenses give off that reflective, can't-see-my-eyes kind of look. They’re stylish, functional, and a breeze to change out. Just be gentle with your frames though. If you snap them while swapping lenses, that’s on you and could void the warranty. Got these polarized blue & orange lenses to jazz up the glasses on occasions. They fit just right & were manufactured very well to fit, so were easy to install. The color and clarity of the lenses are great. They’ll likely last a long time if taken care of. I think the price was good especially since they are polarized and there are two of them.
