I originally bought these for myself because they looked like a perfect dupe for the Ray-Ban Erica sunglasses — and honestly, they are. Lightweight, comfortable, and the polarized lenses make a huge difference in bright sun. The funny part? My husband tried them on once and immediately claimed them as his. They look great on both of us, so they’re definitely unisex. The quality feels way better than the price would suggest, and the style is super flattering. These are a solid set of sunglasses that are versatile enough to go with any outfit. They aren't made from the thickest material - I do worry about long term durability - but for a pretty affordable pair of sunglasses, these do the job. I have thrown them into my purse without any protection and they have held us so far after about a month of use. I took a chance on those because 1) I love the shape and 2) I love the pink mirrored style. The risk is I have a huge melon head that absolutely MUST have oversized sunglasses or I look ridiculous. I have blind-bought so many “oversized” sunglasses that aren’t - it’s a real pain point. I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived because they came so well-packaged. I’ve bought sunglasses on Amazon a lot, and most of the time they come in a cellophane bag. Which is fine if I love the glasses, but these actually come in a gift box, and then a soft, microfiber carrying punch with a microfiber cleaning cloth! They are better made than I expected - I would put them on par with sunglasses from TJ Maxx or a department store as opposed to a Target or Walmart. They are light, but substantial. They don’t at all feel like cheap plastic, the hinges are flexible, and there are no warps or defects in the lenses. They just look like a great pair of sunglasses that really are face flattering, and I feel give you a little bit of lagniappe (or zhuzh). BUt honestly, the delight was because they actually fit my face. They are just oversized enough that I love them, and that’s the key thing for me. I also absolutely ove the mirrored pink effect - I am considering getting another pair just to make sure I have them on hand for when these wear out. These sunglasses are well made from quality materials, using both plastic and metal in the frame. I love the style and the comfort of these sunglasses as well as them being light and forgetting I’m even wearing them. The polarization of these glasses gives you so much clarity as well as giving great protection from the UV rays. Others in the family like them so much that I’m not the only one wearing them so we may have to get more pairs. So far these sunglasses have been very durable without any wear or damage occurring. I can't keep a pair of sunglasses for very long at all. A month, max. They always get lost or broken. Therefore, i buy super cheap sunglasses and I don't know that I've ever bought a pair of polarized sunglasses. So you can imagine my surprise at the clarity when I slipped these on! What have I been missing all these years?! I can not believe i am just now finding out about polarized sunglasses! How is that even possible?! That clarity of the lenses alone would get 5 stars from me, but that's not the only thing I like about them. The lenses have an amber colored tint that i enjoy. They aren't super dark, but they definitely cut down on glare and help me see in the bright sun. The glasses are cute, fashionable, and I also love the champagne color is the frames. I'm not crazy about the mirrored lenses, but that's just my personal preference and it's really not that big of a deal to me. The only negative thing i have to say about these glasses is that the fit isn't that great for me. They're a bit big on my face and I feel like they will constantly slip down if I look down or bend over. So, they might run a bit large. But otherwise, they're great. They are made well and look durable. The arms are securely attached and they don't squeek when opening or closing. Sunglasses are a necessity for me. My eyes are very sensitive so I wear them every time I'm outside, both summer & winter. It's always difficult to find just the right pair. But so far this pair is great. They're very comfortable ... they're lightweight and fit me very well. I have a small size head but I think these will fit many adults as the sides are metal and probably will adjust to fit. The style is cute ... they are larger than my usual sunglasses which is a good thing as it offers more protections from the wind which I need as much as from the sun. I don't think I've had polarized glasses before but the polarization adds additional protection. The lenses are dark enough. to provide shade from the light ... but not too dark that you can't see to walk around or drive. These arrived very well protected in a box within a box. They come with a soft drawstring pouch. Since I just got them I don't know the durability factor just yet but I always 'baby' my sunglasses since I really need them ... so hopefully they will last for awhile. At the current price of $19.99 (at the time of this review) I think this is a good value. In fact I'd like to get another pair while they're available.
