I compared this unit to my wife's Escali jewellery scale. The size is smaller than Escali's, and yet its precision is almost on par from 0.5g. Above 1g, measurements using my calibration weights (1 - 3 kg) and by comparing results with Escali are spot on. This is quite amazing as this is the only scale I can find to have this level of gram precision with such compact size (smallest I can find on Amazon) and being able to hold up to 13 lb. That's plenty enough for our small kitchen needs. Read more

Junk. Took it out of the box, hit tare to zero, put a quarter on it which should be 5.67 grams, display showed 5.5 (fine, that's within spec), then it starts decreasing in .5 increments every few seconds. Remove the quarter, now there is nothing on the scale and it starts increasing in .5 increments. Next step, put it back in the box and return it. 2/21 Update:. Seller reached out and thought I might have received a defective unit and offered to send a new one. I already had bought something else, so I declined, but felt their swift action and offer shows exceptional customer service. As such, updating my rating from 1 to 3 star. Read more
