My favorite dumbbells for Pilates! These have a grip to them which helps you hold them if you are using them for hot Pilates or typically any workout. The silicone is super comfortable to hold and cleans so easily. I use these weights so much more now that it is so easy to hold them. They also came with a very nice zippered container. My only con to it is the silicone picks up dirt sometimes but it can be easily wiped off!! Read more

This is my second purchase of the weights. One I thought my elderly parents could benefit from as well. The pill shape sleekness to the design is nice. The weight is little over 3lbs I believe and is great for beginners, easy light strength training etc. I like to start with these for warm ups and and added feature to my walks which is nice to switch things up. If you build up your strength then unfortunately there is no heavier size but would be nice if they come up with heavier ones as well. The grip feature is kind of minimal but I guess it can serve as a guide to finger placement. The material is good but be mindful of hand placement and exercises because it’s not your typical dumbbell. They come in a little mesh bag that honestly unless you are traveling somewhere or want to store them in a gym bag without them rolling around then that’s a added feature it comes with. The color I chose is sand although it leans towards a slight peach color so bear that in mind if that’s the shade you go for. Of course I realize what some may think when they see a fleshy tone to these weights and what they resemble but who cares right?! They go well next to my sand Bala beam so I can keep some of my workout equipment cohesive in the color scheme that I like. I gave it 4 stars because I’d like the color more a neutral sand, the grip can be a little more prominent for better function and the weight size is of course the only weight you can get so I’d like for them to expand as well as make a circular weight as well. The price is a plus when compared to bigger brands like Bala so if that’s something you look for then this might be a good alternative for you. Read more
