I goofed, I should have taken before pictures. I rediscovered a cheapie Timex digital watch that I wore pretty hard as a teenager, last worn at least 20 years ago. Decided to see if I could get it running (batteries sometimes explode if left for decades). Luckily, with a new battery she was off to the races. Next, the strap. Wasn't a fan of the one that was attached to it. Ordered a navy blue NATO off of eBay, will arrive Friday. Lastly, the face of this thing was scratched deep right across the numbers. I figured, let's see if there's a polishing kit out there, and I found this one. Excellent move. I chucked the polishing wheel into my cordless drill, dabbed some compound onto the crystal and went to town. I then finished with the cloth, just to clean it, didn't add any more compound. Result? All but the very deepest marks are completely gone and the ones that remain are minimized enough that they don't even catch the light. Watch is as readable as the day it was new, I'm thrilled. Note, in the pic I left some marks at the perimeter untouched, but the ones I hit are gone. Watch feels a little more honest this way. I usually wear a Hamilton Khaki Field auto. That's not a super high end watch, but I feel bad about wearing it while going about "rough" tasks. Now that my old Timex is resurrected, I can wear that happily instead. By the time I bought a battery ($7), a strap ($12) and the polish ($11), I'm not saving a single cent vs just buying a new comparable Timex. However, I have the satisfaction of bringing back an old friend from years gone by, and that's pretty cool to me. Note, the polishing wheel will shed fibers as you use it. I don't consider that a knock against its quality, just something to take note of. If you're a neat freak, use it somewhere you can make a mess. Read more

Worked great! My acrylic watch face had some pretty deep scratches, and I thought this would at lease get some of the scratches out. I used a fairly generous amount of the polish and rubbed it for 2-3 minutes with the polishing cloth and it made it look good as new! Still plenty of polish left for several more treatments. It saved me from buying a new watch! Read more

I was holding out hope that it would work for the deep scratch on my Apple Watch, but no luck (clean watch face is before, smudgy watch face is after). I’m sure the product works fine, I just think my scratch was too deep to fix. The aftermath does take some elbow grease to clean off. Make sure you just get a watch case (though if you’re looking at this product, it’s probably too late) Read more

Didn’t work. Did not remove scratches as advertised definitely not worth the money. I followed the instructions and applied the product more than once but the scratches still remained. Read more
I purchased this product based on customer reviews hoping to remove the scratches out of my watch. I have a Citizen Eco-Drive watch but not sure what the crystal is made of. At first I tried the polywatch by using my finger and went in circular motions. Did that for as long as I could before I got tired. It didn't work so I tried the buffer that came with it. Attached it to my drill and went to work. No luck. This was about half a bottle of the polywatch and about 45 minutes with both hand and electric buffing. I was hoping it would have gotten out the scratches but it didn't. I guess my watch has the harder crystal and this product wasn't meant for it. It did shine up the crystal, just didn't remove the scratches all the way. Read more
Great product. Quickly improved two vintage watches. Spent about 15 minutes on the Timex and 5 minutes on the bulova. Major improvement on both! Read more
