After removing all gauges, chips and major scratches with Emory cloth or sand paper (in series). This product works best as the last finishing polish of the crystal. I generally don't give High reviews simply because I don't want the price to go up in case I need to buy it again in the future. However, I have to give credit where credit is due. I have a sapphire face on my titanium watch which was scratched for the longest time and after taking it to a watch place to maybe get the Sapphire face replaced they had suggested this. Follow the instructions but apply multiple coats. They say rub it for about 2 to 3 minutes per coat and it does work. I probably put about eight coats on my watch and now the sapphire face is completely clear.
