Easy installation and serves its purpose and then some! Definitely pumps out great air and is just quiet enough. Love the remote for added convenience. Is a little heavy but that just adds to the sturdiness of it! I have mine in a medium size bedroom but this would definitely accommodate a much larger room and it’s aesthetically pleasing! After a few failed attempts and finding a suitable air conditioner, I was please to find this one!! Read more

out of desperation i went to home depot for a portable ac unit, they were starting at twice as much as this one. quick shipping from the usa, once its delivered the unboxing experience is simple and low mess. the instructions are simple and easy to follow, the only issue i have is the seal kit it comes with isnt sized for the windows i wanted to use them on. regardless, i can still use it wonderfully as long as i use a curtain to help keep air from blowing in. when its finally on youll feel a night and day difference from before. it also has auto shut off when its hit the desired temperature. not only did i save money but this is a quality product for the price. We bought this unit because it was affordable, (mostly) well-reviewed, and automatically emptied the drip pan. Well, I sort of regret it. It does work, and it is cold. But it's not intuitive, it's loud, and it has a "feature" that it turns out I kind of hate. First, it's not intuitive because to turn on the cold, you have to set it to cold and then set the fan. My other unit, a Honeywell, just turns on when you set it to cold because, obviously, you want the cold fan on. The feature I hate is the auto-shut-off. The reason is because it turns off the fan AND the cooling. My other unit, the Honeywell, keeps the fan on, and the cooling comes on and off as needed. This is a good idea as it keeps the room cool no matter whether it's "cooling" or not. But this one just turns off. Given how loud it is, you try to sleep, it goes on for 20 minutes, cools, then silence, then, 15 minutes later, ROAR, it's on again. It's hard to get used to the noise when it keeps coming on and off. So, three stars for working, -2 stars for being annoying. It should 1) turn on when you push cool and 2) keep the fan on unless you want it to off. If there's an option to keep the fan on and have cooling toggle and and off, I'd like it a lot more. This AC unit works wonderful in our 450 sq ft bedroom. Easily drops the temperature to the desired setting in 45 minutes when the heat index outside is 110 degrees. Set up is simple and all parts are included. From the time we pulled the box inside to the time it was up and running was maybe 40 minutes. Read more

Works well and was easy to set up. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s a little louder than I expected but otherwise it’s great. Read more

What am I doing wrong? This is the third portable air conditioner that I try. Every single one of them was totally unable to cool a 13x9 room. This air conditioner had 4.7 Stars so I thought it was a safe bet. Lowest temperature I can get is 78 degrees and that's at night. During the day, if it reaches 90° outside, the small room will only get down to 82°. I must be doing something wrong with three for three not doing the job. Maybe I'm being unfair by giving it only one star seeing so many other people rated it very highly but I have to give a review based on my experience. UPDATE: that does it! This portable AC has been on for 2 hours, set to cool and high fan speed. It is 84 outside and 81 inside. Totally worthless. Also tried setting it to dehumidify. That works great. Filled up with 3 gallon bucket in a few hours. I don't know where all that moisture is coming from in the small room. It's going back. Read more
