I love this little fan so much. I get hot very easily, more than anyone else in my house, so summer is always a struggle. But this fan has been helping a ton! It's shockingly powerful for its size, especially since it's probably going to be a lot closer to you than a larger fan, since it's meant to be placed on a desk or table. It gives a strong breeze just on the first setting, so it can really cool you off. You can also add water to mist on you, and ice cubes to make the air colder, which is perfect for those days the air is so hot and humid it's like swimming through soup. This is also the quietest fan I've ever used. It's very nearly silent. My brother, who has never been able to stand the sound of a fan before, loves this one because it barely has any sound at all. I ordered this Taoscare cooling fan to help keep me cool when I'm out on my porch on a hot day. Note that this is NOT a proper air conditioner in the technical sense, but is rather an evaporative or "swamp" cooler. By creating a fine mist of water in front of the fan, it will effectively cool the air coming out due to the evaporation of the mist. For what it is, it does a great job of blowing delightful cool air on a hot day. The fan has multiple speeds and multiple mist settings which makes it easy to find the perfect balance. It even has an oscillation function that can be enabled if you want to share the breeze! I don't really use the included remote, but it's nice to have. The capacitive touch buttons on the front are responsive and easy enough to use. It's fairly compact and portable, so it can be used anywhere (as long as you have a USB-C charger or power bank!). We had a heatwave this week and this little fan is the reason I was able to sleep at all during it. It's small enough to pop on your nightstand, and when operating, there are no lights on to disrupt your sleep! It's not silent, but I sleep with 'sleep sounds' on anyway and so the little fan sound wasn't a problem at all. It can oscillate or stay still and you don't actually need the remote to operate it. I have a single zone AC and the upstairs stays warm because heat rises and the thermostat sensor is on the ground floor and this made an immense difference in sleep comfort! A godsend! Read more
I like the size and white noise of this fan. I prefer a bit of a hum, and this provides that. With just the fan, it puts off a good amount of air flow with its 4 speed settings. When you add water to the upper tank, the air is cooler feeling than the air without the water mist on. However, I did not notice a difference in temperature after adding ice. The other thing that I have noticed is that it only feels cooler in front of the fan, as it does not cool down the room. Not a big deal if you are sitting in front of it. It has a night light that shows through the upper water tank and it has the option to cycle through the colors or you can choose a color you like best. The front display screen will turn off after a few seconds of inactivity from the panel or remote. It is powered by a USB cord. All in all I am happy with this mini evaporative cooler. Read more

This portable air cooler feels decently cool so I think it might work as a temporary cooling device for a small amount of time (like while cooking). The ice would melt too fast to use for an extended period of time (like while sleeping). I deducted stars because my unit doesn’t change any of the functions it’s supposed to. The remote doesn’t work and even pressing the buttons on top doesn’t change the settings. Read more
