I was pleasantly surprised by how well this portable CD player performs. Setup was straightforward right out of the box, and it started playing CDs without any issues. The sound quality is clear and balanced for its size, and it gets plenty loud for a room without distortion. I also like the design—it’s compact, lightweight, and looks clean whether you mount it or place it on a shelf. The controls are simple and responsive, and the remote is a nice bonus for convenience. A couple of small things to note: it works best on a stable surface, and like most portable players, it’s not meant for heavy bass or audiophile-level sound. I've listened to this mini CD player stereo all day one CD after another. It functions just like a much larger more expensive system. The sound equals or exceeds a good car stereo and is far superior to those small jam boxes that are sold at mist discount retailers. It's best not to get overly concerned about the 6W rating on the speakers; I hear the music clearly when moving around a 2000sq ft house without turning up the volume. I could also hear it fairly well with water running in the kitchen sink. The sound itself is HiFi with plenty of clarity. My music collection ranges from easy listening to classical that features a particular instrument. Piano notes ring out while guitar notes, even the harmonics, are rendered in acute detail. I have a few other genres in my collection and will edit this review if the electronic or classic rock don't render as well. I also haven't yet tried any of the other features: FM radio, USB audio or Bluetooth. FM reception has never worked on this property and I'm not equipped to test the other two modes. I mainly just needed a portable stereo that plays CDs which this does so much better than I expected. There are some minor issues. The small led screen is on top of the unit so can't be seen unless you're standing near enough to it to look down. Further, the player requires some sort of case if you plan on traveling with it. It's not battery operated which is important to know. I chose this deliberately because I've had trouble with rechargeable cd players skipping. The buttons are difficult to read because they are small. There is a remote, however. I can see it without reading glasses which is a big plus. The CD player is constructed well and looks kinda nifty because it's vertical. There is a green background light which makes the unit visible in the dark though the keys on the remote aren't backlit. Overall, sound is amazing, the stereo is extremely portable and priced very reasonably compared to well-known brands that don't have nearly the same sound quality. I'm glad I bought it. Read more

This CD player worked wonderfully. It is a great value.The only reason for 4 stars, rather than 5, is that the speaker in it is OK but not as nice as an external speaker. It is easy to connect to another speaker using the AUX cable. You can also connect using Bluetooth. It took a bit of practice to do this but it does work!. Read more
Yes. Just yes. We have been looking for small, simple, CD player. Just to play our CDs. Tried several, all returned; buttons confusing or too small, broken, device too big, just hard to use.
