I purchased this after having my ears cleaned at my doctor's office with a similar spray-bottle type product. I've tried various other products to periodically clean out excess wax and found this to be the most effective method. It works best is you have used ear drops for the previous 5 days or so to soften the wax before removing it with the water jet. The otoscope and other items are handy to have. Read more
Holy smokes, this is probably one of the best deals I’ve got on Amazon! My son had an ear ache and his doctor said she couldn’t see his eardrums due to wax buildup so we had to use this Debrox stuff at home to loosen the wax. Well, breaks it up but we still needed to irrigate it so I ordered this. Not only was this a fantastic price point it came with everything sealed in a neat plastic box. Besides the easy to assemble ear irrigator it came with a pen light, clip on magnifying glass and another small case of stainless steel tools to help assist in extraction of impacted wax! It also came with a ton of replacement plastic tips for the device. Also, a cup for under the ear and a small re-usable towel to protect their shirt. Don’t worry, there is instructions! We were able to get a ton of wax out our first go! Mind, this was after using the Debrox 2x earlier that day as well. He is 12 and he said it was not painful. I should’ve taken a picture of the wax that came out but it was pretty gnarly so I wasn’t thinking about that at the time. I can’t believe it worked so well! Also, make sure you sanitize as necessary and wash hands before and after. So glad I got this and not some ridiculously expensive device. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. Read more
4.5 stars if i could because it's not super convenient to use the spray bottle and long hose and hold an ear and the magnifier didn't really work with it. BUT I will say that using the light as only a light was perfect to see in the canal and check for more wax and was super neat! And I put a picture that doesn't even show the biggest chunks. It took almost a full sprayer to dislodge it but wax that was built up in my son's ear and had no luck with qtips and other methods finally dislodged and came out! So it worked and did its job 100%. I'd definitely recommend, it's worth the money! Read more

If you have no ear cleaning tools already, I definitely say it's safe to get this kit, but there's a couple reasons why it isn't 5 stars for me. 1) it doesn't have a proper ear cleaning tip for the spray nozzle. It comes with tips, but they are one hole tips that shoot the water straight into your ear and straight onto your impacted wax (or ear drum if no impaction is present) and you do NOT want that. However, I already had some proper ear cleaning syringe tips (they have 3 holes facing slightly out to the side to wash the walls of the ear canal and actually help to dislodge stuck wax and wash it forward toward the ear opening) on hand and one of those fit right onto the tip of the hose nozzle well enough to use so I had to supplement the tool for it to be of use and that's a pretty big deal, but if you are also in my shoes, the "ear cleaning syringe" is fairly low cost at any pharmacy (and probably also Amazon). 2) the spray bottle leaks like crazy. At least half of the bottle drips out of the handle; with every squeeze. It makes a wet mess, but ear cleaning is rarely not messy, so I live with it. Despite the leaking spray bottle and the tip being supplemented from another product, I was able to successfully unclog my daughter's ears (she has chronic skin issues that cause dead skin and wax buildup). The pen light with the little scoop on it that comes in the kit is honestly worth the entire price tag of the kit just about. It was a game changer for me. Read more
