So besides not having English directions after using AI to translate the picture of them I Learned how to properly use and start the steamer. I'm no pro but after start up it leaks so much water before an actually impressive amount of steam I was sure I just received a busted squirt gun. Eventually it was on and running at full blast and My wife and I went to town on everything in the house just because we could. I wasn't completely impressed or sold that it was even doing anything more than wetting everything but my lady loves it so hey why not Read more
There are so many things to dislike about this steam cleaner. I tested it on outdoor cushions, toaster-oven ick, ground-in-grime on laminate flooring and creased window sheers. The attachments are absolutely tiny, so even when there is effective cleaning action, it is ridiculously time-consuming. At any of the three steam settings, so much water spewed out that whatever I was working on quickly became soaked. Allowing the unit a longer preheat time did not fix that problem. The cloth 'mop' cover, which I used while steaming the window sheers, absorbed enough of the water to make the unit usable. When I used it to remove packing-creases from my window sheers, it did a reasonably effective, if inefficient, job. However, the steam left a nauseating odor of cheap plastic that lingered for days. I was initially impressed by the long hose, which makes it much easier to handle than my all-in-one portable garment steamer. I soon discovered that the convenience was an illusion. There is no trigger or other control on the spray gun, meaning that one has to reach back to the tank in order to adjust the steam level or turn the unit off or on. Even then, the unit is slow to respond, continuing to output steam until it cools, despite being turned off. The description of the easy fill is inaccurate -- in fact only a small flap lifts, and only a small stream of water can be used to slowly fill the the generous tank. I am not a fan of this unit. Maybe I should have recognized the problem when I discovered that the nstructions are entirely and exclusively in Russian -- which suggested a level of carelessness which carried through consistently to the entire product.
