Guys! This thing is absolutely amazing! I'm compelled to write a review, which is something I rarely do. I'm the kind of person who probably buys a thousand products before writing a review. First of all, this is the cheapest 16-inch portable monitor I could find! Upon receiving and using it, I was satisfied with its appearance, quality, and configuration. It even exceeded my expectations. Secondly, and most importantly, it offers incredibly rich customization options. After some complex adjustments, you'll get very satisfying results. Of course, the downside is that the default display settings aren't great. Next, I'll share my settings for your reference: On your computer (MacBook), select the color profile "sRGB" for this monitor. Enter the adjustment menu using the physical buttons on the monitor: Picture (• Backlight 10 • Brightness 60 [Need to be used with the computer's dark theme, otherwise the white will be glaring] • Contrast 50 default • Sharpness 2 default) Color (• Panel uniformity no • Temperature user → R 120 → G 108 → B 118 . • Color effect user → R hue 40 /sat 50 (default), → Y hue 40 /sat 35, → G hue 50 (default)/sat 45, → C hue 50 (default)/sat 45, → B hue 50 (default)/sat 50 (default), → M hue 46 /sat 50 (default)) Finally, the downside is that the adjustment menu is very complex and the button logic is inverted. If you need to adjust the parameters for a long time, remember to go to the "other" option and set the "menu time" to 60 seconds, because the default is to automatically close the menu after 1 second of inactivity. Very nice 4k picture with adjustable color. Nice slim design. Light but solid and durable. 2 usb-c ports compatible with 4k video sources. 1 mini HDMI port also 4k compatible. Micro-usb port for power. No included instruction manual = minus one star. On-screen menu somewhat cryptic without instructions. Be aware: when used with Samsung Dex from a Galaxy phone, 1080p is the highest resolution the combo supports, as far as I can figure out. When used with a 4k laptop, 4k resolution is supported. I bought two of these monitors so that I could have a triple monitor setup when combined with my work laptop for on the go. It works perfectly for this purpose. I do have to have the second monitor plugged into a power bank since I don't have enough USB A plugins on my laptop but it takes 5 minutes to setup and breakdown and I'm able to crank out work tasks much fast than just working off my laptop alone. Just stopped working after about 2 years of use. Screen simply does not power on. I have an older 15.6 monitor that I'm using again. I actually got this one to replace it, but whatever. Hopefully a few more people come and re-review these monitors. I have a feeling they just die after a few years of use. Read more

I need a monitor to use in external meetings that matched the 16:10 2.5k display on my laptop. This one matches my 17" laptop screen well; fits the bill as far as specifications; and seems like a quality monitor, but I have only had it for a short time. The packaging is high quality and includes cables for most installations. The cables themselves seem high quality and include both velcro-type wraps and plastic connector covers. The cover-stand is a nice feature and hopefully will hold up better than a "kick stand". The control layout is a little different from the manual, but is easily figured out. If you are going to use the monitor on a VESA mount, you will need two m4 screws. This is my second monitor as the first seemed to lose the magnetic attachment of the cover to the monitor (necessary to properly prop up the monitor using the cover as a stand). I contacted the vendor using the link on Amazon. They responded quickly and professionally, but could offer no explanation or fix except to point out that as it was so close to the purchase date, I could return it to Amazon for replacement (which I promptly did). I shipped back the first monitor the same day. When the new monitor came, I realized that while was using the original monitor with a stand on my desk I must have inadvertently reversed cover. Surprise...the cover is only magnetic on the one side. Since it is flat, it can easily be flipped inside out and will not "stick" magnetically. I don't have a way to see it this was the problem with the first monitor (since it has been returned). I do give the vendor kudos for their responsiveness and professionalism. Read more
